I really love your art style! ♥️ Do you have any recommendations for tutorials on learning to draw digitally? I know I could just look at little micro tutorials but I’m autistic so I need really specific instructions step by step to get started
Hey thanks! Honestly I am not good at digital art as much as traditional. Also, this question is pretty vague and you havent reblogged/liked anything of mine so Im not sure which artwork you might be referring to... if you mean pixel art, digital paintings, commissions Ive done, etc
But, I have a HUGE tag full of art resources that are 90% for digital art because I also had a really hard time getting started!
Here is a small tutorial Ive been pulling up for years to look at whenever I forget how to digitally paint, that just shows exactly how the artist does layering, shading, etc
Also check the users I reblog tutorials from, if the above aren't really what youre looking for. Drawingden, etheringtonbrothers, and art-tutorials-n-references are all good pages to follow if you want to see more guides!

looking at "cringe sonic ocs" and it reminds me that people usually stop calling it cringe only if and when the art is supposedly good. like ive seen several suddenly get banger updated art a decade later and theyre "awesome now". like you cant act like you didnt dog on it in winters past bc now it "looks good". you aren't suddenly "in on the joke", you're the one that turned someone's special guy into a target in the first place. eat my shoe

and this goes for any and all ocs/aus. your self insert, your recolor, your sonas, your oc x canon, your mary sue, your fankid/family, your edgelord, your joke ocs, even your random background characters etc. they're all important because they were made by someone. nobody's oc is more valid than the other just because its "drawn/designed/written better" or their origins are "pure". you can't gatekeep how or why ocs are made. bullying people for having fun is a loser profession.
to those who have faced this bullying, you may try to hide and attempt to exclude yourself from this post because you're embarrassed. maybe you did write and share self-servicing stories of everyone falling in love with your self insert at age 11 on wattpad. but at the end of the day it made you happy; those who shun you chose to feel that way, you did not make them.
please be kind to your past "cringe", because that was once your present happiness.
and dearly behated, "cringe aficionados", self-employ some fucking childish wonder and go make an oc.
