  • the comments on that post confuse me. like believe me, i’m not forcing anyone to eat anything they don’t want to! i have arfid, i’ve been there and i don’t want to force any food on anybody else.

this is about people who talk about how unhealthy such-and-such baked good is and how it’s gonna make them gain weight and whatnot. and when i’m like “it’s okay if you don’t want it” they’re like “oh no, i do!” like they feel the need to perform about it. folks have described it more eloquently than i can rn but it’s like how thin people are worried that being seen eating a pastry is gonna make them seem fat, somehow. like a contagion.

I wonder if she chose to bind herself because it’s a similar fate to the one of The Hollow Knight

God, I love how both she and the PK are so overcome by guilt they stopped living (in one case literally and in the other she’s just surviving)

I think that she leans into the treating her children as mindless vessels to cope with the fact that they’re sentient. Or maybe she leans into only using them only for her own benefit because that’s how she perceives herself. Like, I did this horrible thing -> therefore I’m a horrible person -> this is how horrible people act, so I’m gonna act that way. Despite her own feelings about it

I need to know her motivations

I must keep studying her character!
