This is the best description I’ve heard for this method, I always thought it was bullshit because I never heard a description that actually explained how to do this other than “tap your head 20 times”.
I have anxiety-induced hissing, which sounds/feels different from sound-induced tinnitus (which I have also experience). Sound-based tinnitus actually sounds like you’re “hearing” something in your ears, whilst the hissing I have feels like it’s “inside my head”, if that makes sense. But this technique still helps!!

the goat didnt burn but the strong winds today have caused it to fall over
given how some old folks tend to try and predict the up coming year, and its only day 2 of that divination event. Day 1 consisted of me: Braking a tooth on a onion ring, Having a fire at work I had to help put out, Having to cover another's sift, walking home at night in the freezing rain, and then the power going out before midnight. So going off that January is going to be "fun." So given the last time the Goat wasn't burnt was the holiday right before the world wide Plague.... Dose the wind blowing it over count? I need some good news.
Welp. Just got home from work. At work the tooth I had cracked on Jello finally broke into a few good prices when I bit into an Onion Ring. And someone set the smoking area on fire, not even exaggerating. So.... yeah normal chaos I guess. Edit to add: I forgot to add walking home in the freezing rain.
