Pillory Bells

Pillory Bells, Uncommon

This metal band has 1d4 bells hanging from it when found. While wearing these bells at the start of your turn creatures within 15 feet of you that can hear the bells must make a (DC12) Wisdom Saving throw or have disadvantage on attacks made against you. At the end of their turn creatures can repeat the saving throw to break the effects of the bells, becoming immune to its effects for the next 24 hours. With each bell on the band the DC increases by 1 (to a maximum of 6).

Character Synopsis: Calpurnia had lived in an orphanage for most of her childhood after her parents went missing, going through the system as an unwanted child due to her "mischievous nature", she was a thief, stealing food for the smaller children that didn’t get as much as the older stronger ones. Stealing money from the rich to buy them clothes and toys. She couldn’t tolerate the strong taking from the weak, even if she would stand amongst those that were considered strong. After she reached of age and was kicked out of the orphanage she never stopped returning to the kids to make sure that they were ok, putting a stop to any abuse and mistreatment that she saw. She resigned herself to be a thief, joining the thieves guild, and obsessing over every copper and silver that she could get her hands on, after years she bought the orphanage in her town under an alias, now serving as its protector and provider.

Leech Seal

Notes from a Homesteader

I’ve been feeding this thing five hunks of meat a day for the past six weeks, it just don’t stop eatin, might need to ask a Troll for a finger or two so I don’t have to keep hunting. I learned a trick from that Witch we met back in Everis to keep a trolls meat from makin another troll when you eat it (Check the notes below to see the recipe).”

It’s been a few months since my last update, but I wouldn’t’ve believed it myself unless I’d seen it with my own eyes, but this critter actually laid a dozen or so eggs, and now we’ve got a bunch of lil leech pups on the way. I wanted to start making a Swamp area for it to live in with its pups, but the one of the ranch heads said not to do that quite yet so that we can properly make its environment and then add the proper flowers and animals to it and all that what not.”

*Two Cups of a Sugar Plum Fairies Enchanted Sparkles, Fermented Jelly from the Eye of an Imp, and a clipping of a Myling Umbilical Cord, let stew in the water from a Bog where Trolls bathe for two days, and then let rest for an hour or so before removing the meat, it SHOULD retain its regenerative properties.

WIS 14

CHA 18

Character Synopsis: Mimi was once the child of a noble lord and lady, having been born very weak and sick, his parents would spend years trying to find a way to stabilize his condition, unfortunately they did not have the time, as Mimi’s condition worsened beyond their control and he eventually passed away. The despair of the lord and lady was felt throughout the city, as they invested in a massive funeral precession in honor of their son. All the while, Mimi’s ghost watched from their home, confused, but free. He quickly found the head maid who alongside his mother would sing him lullabies to sleep, after she feinted from the shock of seeing him, they spoke for a while and she began to understand his predicament. She insisted that he not show himself to his parents quite yet, as they would surely seek a way to bring him back from the dead rather than let him be free from the body that ailed him so. She told him to seek out the adventurers guild, and that surely he would be able to find a new way to live outside in the world until his parents moved on from their grief and could meet him again in this form.

After years of this as a token of appreciation for the time spent together the Old Man helped Gusui craft his own pot from a rare volcanic material and promised him his home for the future restaurant he’ll open up.
