I used to have this friend who was an intersex trans woman with XXY chromosomes and whenever an argument came up that people said you need two X chromosomes to be a woman or whatever she’d be like well I have two X chromosomes and let me tell you that doesn’t change transphobes minds at all but it is pretty funny to see how confused they get.
I’m not intersex myself but I’ve been friends with some intersex people both cis and trans and it’s always weird to me how people still clutch so hard onto their ideas about how binary sex and gender are when there’s a living breathing human being who contradicts their worldview just by existing standing right in front of them.
The first leg hair I saw on a woman was my own hair on my own legs. My mum is very naturally hairless and I knew like one woman who didn’t shave her armpits. When people talk about just preferring being shaved and doing it for themselves I do wonder like, how many women with body hair have you ever actually seen? In real life or not? Because I feel like there are places you could go nearly your whole life only seeing your own, and then hardly ever even seeing your own because you’re always shaving it!
