Pinned Post persona 5 persona fanfic shuake big post because i can't shut up seriously how do i write this much why can't i write this much this easily on my actual fic consequences fic no matter the platform it seems i am always incapable of deciding on tags at least there isn't a tag limit here i think oh god i should mention the fic has like all the games in it look it's in the post i know it's obnoxiously long but i think it's important to read if you're thinking about reading consequences and obviously the tags on the fic itself aren't half bad either i'll have my ask box open in case there's something i didn't think about so y'all can ask me wtf i'm talking about or for clarifications on things or just questions in general i'm sorry these tags are probably terrible so i'm gonna stop now before my sibling who actually knows how tumblr is supposed to work manifests behind me to start making fun of me

For anyone keeping up with the Stranger Things "secret good finale" conspiracy (yes, it is just the Sherlock "secret good episode" thing with a new show.) the current theory is that tomorrow, in place of SNL, the actual finale of Stranger Things will air. They are presenting this as something plausible, and not something that Lorne Michaels would have beaten the Duffer Brothers to death over if they even suggested it.

i NEED people to realise foreshadowing is. in fact. a literary device. and not a Bad Thing. the audience picking up on your hints is a Good Thing. because. it makes the story and it’s conclusion make sense. and some people will not see those but enjoy seeing them on a second read through. red herrings are one thing but if your novel consists of nothing but red herrings it’s not a coherent story it’s just a collection of paragraphs that don’t actually plausibly link to one another. you're not fighting with the audience you don’t look clever you look like you don’t know how basic fiction works. be vulnerable for once in your goddamn life and don't treat writing like a game to be won where the audience losing is a good thing.
