Phyllis Shafer, Magical Moment at Fallen Leaf Lake, gouache on paper, 17.5 x 22.5 inches.
It so happened that while actively playing Ultrakill, I was also playing Dark Souls 3, and for some reason my brain noticed some similarities between Swordsmachine and the Abyss Watchers. Whether it was their appearance or their moveset, I associated these two bosses with each other from then on. And if I imagine what Ultrakill would look like if it was a Soulslike, the fight with Swordsmachine seems kinda like the Abyss Watchers to me. That's the lore of this painting

Relationships: Original Female Character(s)/Original Male Character(s), Juke/Mona
Characters: Juke - Character, Mona
Additional Tags: Parenthood, Robot family, dubious ways of making a robot baby
Summary: More writing of my OCs. :) This one's a throwaway thing I wrote between zine writing to relax, and is meant to be kinda silly and fun.
The premise is that my robot OCs Juke and Mona are looking at a computerized model of the future child that they're "building." Tl;dr playing with the logistics of robots making (conceiving??) a kid. Especially if the kid is humanoid and the parents want to mime genetics to decide how they look (especially x2 when one parent doesn't have a human-looking face to work off of).
