For NaNoWriMo I had a third go at a story I’ve been trying to write for almost 20 years now. Still haven’t finished the damn thing, but tried to make (a) cover(s) anyway. Declaring Azrael finished because fuck it, colours are there, and started on Braeden’s.
To hell with quality, from now on we’re making self-indulgent cringe to appease the brain.
I’m… incredibly charmed with Genshin Impact art and want to be able to Do The Thing, but I’ve also been aggressively working _away_ from anime style for years. Also there’s no Genshin Impact style guide that I know of, so to achieve this dream I have to… study…
Practice.
Make with the doodling.
Figure out what works and what doesn’t.
Accept *shudder* mistakes.
Anyway, this is about 2,5 hours worth of trial later. Not entirely sure wtf I’m doing with the colouring but I did learn another neat trick or two with Clip Studio Paint.
