heated rivalry is in fact the worst possible fandom to blow up in the way it has because everything they are is built on foundations of hockey rpf (famously secretive… at least until recently… with the highest rate of archive locked fics on ao3) with which a strong overlap is growing. but they appear to have literally zero boundaries or consideration. if you want to exist in rpf spaces get more normal NOW!!!

it’s almost like #some people don’t know about hrpf’s mass deletions from fourth-wall-breaking incidents… and you just know they would boohoo 😢 if their fav fic authors wiped their profiles in such an incident.
