So for the TMR Descendants AU, the first movie arc is all planned out (about 21 chapters) and I am done with the first chapter!! I wanna get through at least the first five before I start posting though because I want to be able to have buffer time in case I don't work on it for a while and such (time blindness goes brrrrrr).

I just saw a headcanon about the black brothers doing ballet (their parents doing ofc) I HAVE NEVER AGREED MORE.

Sirius putting up with it and being very reluctant about the whole thing, attempting to get out of it and failing and quitting once he got to the potters, but years later is still very flexible? I could imagine him taking his shoes off and standing on the tips of his toes as a party trick but when asked how he knew how to do it he would dodge the question

Regulus using dance as an outlet for his anger? Putting massive amounts of effort into dance to not just please his mother, but as a way to distract himself without punishment? I can sooo imagine him on the rare occasion alone in his dorm dancing HARD because it’s the only way he learnt how to cope, but not telling a soul he knows ballet

why exactly didn't they knock Newt out and carry him to the Berg together. I'm sure he would have made it with just a few minutes longer. Do you have to be conscious to get the Flare injected or something? Idk but if my friend who I loved dearly refused to run to safety with me and begged to be left behind because of a crazy brain virus, I would ignore that. knock them out if i had to. i believe that Gally, Minho and Thomas could have carried Newt like that. Take turns carrying him or whatever. Everything would be more effective than dragging a stubborn, limping idiot through a warzone and stop to argue with him. "no discussion, you come with us or we make you come with us." not sure if i make sense here but the amount of options how Newt could have been saved are endless. his death was so unnecessary and that fact still stresses me out so much

The way I think about this EVERY DAY omg like I will always wonder why Thomas just didn't knock Newt out like my man could've and would've survived if Thomas just knocked him out and waited for Brenda or Gally or whoever had the cure

In a modern AU Newt would be the sports player popular kid and Thomas would be the nerd everyone thought was kind of weird

I agree with this WHOLE heartedly. Thomas is just some kid sitting at the back of the class fucking playing with a rubix cube or something but one day Newt sits next to him and Thomas brushes him off at first basically telling him to fuck off (because he thought Newt was gonna tease him) Newt does NOT give up despite this and is determined to be friends with this kid

Months later they are dating and Newt drags Thomas to events and stuff and no one ever knows who Thomas is (or just down right talks shit) and Newt will say SO proudly “this is my boyfriend. You got a problem with that?” (I may have to write this. My ideas for wips grow every day.)
