    Oh, I love the idea of Bryn/Johanna so much!!!

    I imagine knowing that Finn and Bryn aren’t permanently dead (now that she knows that Klelijah are going around stabbing people, she’s going to start spiraling and realize that she hasn’t seen those two in forever) and that what she saw happen to Kol doesn’t mean he’s dead either, helps Johanna’s mental health tremendously. (And she’s already surprisingly well adjusted—at least compared to the rest of them.)

    They can hang out on the homestead! Five hundred years under the dagger means she gets undaggered sometime in the 1600s—which means Johanna probably hasn’t seen the family since before Bryn was undaggered by the time they catch her in Cádiz. Johanna would be in such a bad place when she finally gets those two back 🥺 she’d be thrilled to know that they not dead.

    (And who knows—maybe it helps Bryn and Finn feel better that there was at least one sibling who had absolutely no idea what was going on… or maybe it doesn’t. Bryn seems a little crazy—in a hot way, but crazy nonetheless.)

    Now we just need to find someone for Miriam to start kissing. My suggestion? Soren seems like he might be a good option. Astoria is also speaking to me. (And someone for the triplets to be weird about…)

  • Bryn would be sooo lovingly insane about Johanna. And she's managed to get away from their codependent siblings? She's uber proud of her, in her own twisted way.

    I do think she assumes everyone was in on her and Finn being kept under, but the knowledge Jo just... wasn't aware? It chips away at that burden of ragehatredjealousy she's carrying on her shoulder. Selfishly, she would want to be Jo's confidant over everybody else (Finn & Sage), but I think she could tentatively share her. Maybe. As long as they know she's her favourite.

    By the time she steals Finn and wakes him up, I think they're almost committed to completely not being in contact with any of the others, but Bryn is Bryn and she can't help the fact she wants to know everything about everyone who once lived with her. She wants spies everywhere. All it takes is a whimper of a word about Klaus and Elijah trying to put her down after years of not hearing anything about it, I truly think she'd send Sage after her to feel her out.

    (You are correct in that she's a little insane and has full on conversations with the voices in her head, but she's also hot).

    I think her panic about Kol would make Bryn a little huffy but she wants to keep this sister, badly, so she'd even offer to try to get him back.

    (Finn doesn't agree but, well. He has Sage. All Bryn has is Jo. He can bite her about it.)

    Oh, I’m imagining Sage finding Jo, and Jo barely holding on by a thread because she thought Sage and Finn were having grand adventures this entire time. Now she thinks he’s dead, and she’s… she’s spent centuries feeling a little hurt and betrayed because Finn and Bryn didn’t want to see her anymore—and now Sage is here, and god, does she even know?

    All that to say: Jo absolutely breaks into an ugly crying meltdown about how she didn’t know and she’s sorry, and how they tried to kill her, and how everything is terrible and ruined now, and she doesn’t even know if Bryn and Finn got tired of her and then died, or if she’s just been vaguely annoyed at corpses this whole time. (And yes, she did get the same drama gene as Klaus, but she takes it in a different direction.)

    I need to know how Bryn feels about her younger siblings—and how she might feel about Jo before they’re turned, considering their age gap and how weird Jo is. (I feel like, in general, Jo is someone who needs very little babying and probably tried her best to steer clear of just about anyone who tried to make their family her problem—though she does love them! It’s just… well, they’re all so loud and dramatic, and the house is so freaky, and Mikael scares the shit out of her. But she’s so young that she doesn’t really have anyone she’s “responsible for,” so she just looks after herself.)

    Oh, I’m sure Kol getting cured doesn’t make Miriam crash out at all… I’m sure she doesn’t freak out turbo bad at the idea that her son-brother-husband is dying. I’m sure she is soooo normal about it. I desperately need to know more about how the cure ends up happening. Expect an ask about that soon. (Though that does mean that Soren and Miriam get to feel very weird about it together. I need more information, however.)

    What if you’re Liv Parker and you and your twin brother are essentially born to die and you don’t know anything else outside of that but you can’t let that be your entire life so what if sometimes you travel!! What if you’re Kaleb Wstphall and you don’t know anything outside of your coven but you know you want to!! What if you cross paths. What if you spend a summer together, on and off arguing and falling into quiet anger and loud displays of fun and affection and never quite love but something like kinship— something to keep you going for a summer of Kaleb looking for somewhere else to be, of Liv and Luke enjoying what few years they have before one of them has to murder their twin. What if Kaleb is one of the only people, only witches, who knows about the gemini coven and still doesn’t treat you as one entity. He cares about you and he cares about Luke and he is so angry that one of you will die and in essence, both of you will be gone one day that it’s what fractures your kinship because he doesn’t understand that there’s no way around it (and what if you both still die because one of you did find a way around it and it took him from you) and what if Kaleb ended up in New Orleans because he wanted to study magic that has to do with the harvest and how sacrifice rituals work and if it could help you at all.

    What if Luke and Kaleb die within a week (within two days) of each other and Liv can’t even reach Kaleb to tell him. what if i GO INSANE
