I love that, like. He KNOWS the audience want to clap and so he's using them as an extra instrument. He turns around and goes hey, stop, and hopes they understand conductor gestures and it works, and then he has clapping he can use when he wants

tbh i would be waaaay more into classical music if this kind of audience participation was a normal thing to do for many of the songs

Foragers (2022, Jumana Manna 🇵🇸)

Za’atar and akkoub are popular herbs in Palestinian culture and cuisine. In 1977, however, Ariel Sharon declared za’atar a ‘protected plant’, rendering its foraging, possession or trade a criminal offense. Akkoub suffered a similar fate when it was labelled protected in 2005. Those who pick za’atar and akkoub subsequently became lawbreakers and in many cases were indicted and convicted. The picking of za’atar and akkoub, nonetheless, continues while many regard it as an act of resistance. (src)

I cried over this today by the way.

[ID: An image of plaintext that reads: “The story behind the ‘Islamic rage guy’ born in 1978 to a Sufi Muslim family in IOK. In 1990 Indian police threw his sister out of a window and she died four years later of her spine injuries; this man has never killed anybody and became involved in Kashmiri independence movement.” End ID]

His name is Shakeel Ahmad Bhat. He’s been tortured and imprisoned numerous times by the Indian government across his career as a militant and later a peaceful protestor for various causes, principally Kashmiri liberation.

"I am not happy with people joking about me or making me into a cartoon, but I have more important things to think about. My protests are for those Muslims who cannot go out onto the streets to cry out against injustice. This is my duty and I believe Allah has decided this for me."

Damian's Galaxy I painted this a while back in celebration of my godson. The original has a bunch of his birth information written in the stars. ✨

Superman’s real superpower is finding white button up shirts opaque enough to hide a bright red, blue, & yellow Superman logo underneath without it showing through.

Rodden’s X account, GlomarResponder, has been set to private but is still active. On September 28, 2025, the account responded to the question “Can anyone point to me exactly where America started going downhill?” The account responded: “November 6, 1860”—the date that President Abraham Lincoln, the president whose administration ended slavery, was elected.

Just monkeying around with my Grookey truffles for Pokémon GO Community Day 🙈💚

These were more complex to make than I'd thought (especially those faces), but I'm pleased with how they turned out. Hope this helps make your day a bit sweeter, take care out there.

Comic based off of @musashi’s video essay on Franziska!!

I’ve watched it three times and cried really bad on my first watch, so safe to say, this video has affected me. So I wanted to draw something that paid tribute to it!!! It was definitely a challenge trying to get all the descriptive metaphorical writing into a visual medium, but I hope I did it a justice!!

Please go watch the video!

has Regular Man ever don regular activities such as Grillin?

Avatar

Well of course he has! Regular Man does regular activities such as grilling very often! It brings him a great sense of fulfillment, especially because the kiddos love it so much.

I was originally gonna draw the Lego Incident out fully, but the juice didn't feel worth the squeeze, so here are some disorganized doodles of it.

This ended up much longer than expected. Originally meant to precede this comic. Don't put pants on your Toriel plush (or do). Here are some bonus sketches.
