cinema audiences truly must be such a vast species with little to no overlap between genres bc the amount of wake up dead man viewers that dont seem awed by the beauty of the movie being filmed one short year after daniel craig finally got his wish to get dicked down in a queer indie film (post-bond fame) and immediately used his newfound connections to get himself a knives out watson played by an actor that has gotten dicked down in [checks notes] 9 separate roles ??? to the point where writing gay fanfiction or otherwise imagining/deducing things about their characters' queerness is laughably easy bc not only is the movie itself suggestive (the kneeling, the touching, the themes of religious guilt alone) but you literally have like a dozen other roles as reference put together... its crazy to me. do u know how rare it is to enjoy non-canon gay subtext between compelling characters (one of whom is confirmed queer) where not only is neither actor awkwardly self conscious or lowkey homophobic but both actors are proven to know how to embody queer intimacy well and with style??? and im supposed to let it go to waste bc of a vow of chastity and a domestic hugh grant cameo. as if those things dont just add flavor. dont make me laugh
