Okay, so the vans and I have some beef, and i want to know who’s more validated here.
When you get into the driver’s seat of a car to drive it, you …
… buckle up, then turn on the engine
… turn on the engine, then buckle up
I use remote start only
Vanilla extract and bald people don’t drive
If you use remote start the majority of the time -not all the time-, choose the option of what you do when you don’t.
If you do a mix of both, try to figure out which one you do most.
I don’t care about what other rituals you have that may happen between the two. I care solely about which of the two comes first.

There are two rooms that every home should have by default but don’t: library/reading room and sunroom.

I know a lot of women struggle with infertility so they take a ton of pregnancy tests just out of anxiety, but my life changed when @knowledgetosorrow told me that dollar tree pregnancy tests work just fine. I have only ever bought one but the pharmacy ones are like $10. Anyway I feel bad when I hear of a woman wanting to get pregnant, blow through 13 pregnancy tests in the course of a few days. Feels exploitative of these companies when I don’t think the tech is any better than a dollar tree test. If I can help anyone by passing on this knowledge I’d be happy.
they need to invent clubbing for boring sober people who donāt like loud music or crowded group dancing. whatās the āshe should be at the clubā for this hypothetical not-me demographic.
roundup of various common suggestions in the notes:
- āthe libraryā: a nice space to hang, granted, but not really the same fun social vibes.
- āthe night-library that serves pink drinks and teaā: okay okay, now weāre cooking.
- ācoffee shopā: a bit more social and rambunctious than the average library, but still too plain imo.
- āthe museumā: still a tad too formal I feel like but definitely not opposed.
- āthe book clubā: again, not opposed, but book clubs do have the catch of requiring you to plan ahead and do some homework to really enjoy it, not a very āIām bored on a friday and want to go do something funā activity.
- āwine tastingā:
- ādnd/ttrpg nightsā: unfortunately Iām stupid and am bad at these games. I mean unfortunately these hypothetical people are stupid and bad at these games.
- āarcades with cover fees at the door and then free gamesā: wonāt even lie this sounds killer, gonna see if they have any of those in my area.
- ābabe the club is wherever you feel confident in yourself, life is a club and Iām just chilling at a bus stopā: beautiful. poetic. heart warming. she should be at the bus stop.
first good suggestion on this post in years, FINALLY true equality
