if you’ve never engaged with a creative art on a regular basis you need to understand that it requires concerted effort to get into “the groove” to make something and every second that it takes to get into that groove causes physical pain, but the only thing worse than doing it is not doing it.
i fucking hate having to write the writing i want to make. i hate having to be clever, smart, and original enough to convey my ideas with any pizazz. i want to beam my Ideas into your head without having to think of a hundred different ways to write my particular flavor or Drama. but alas i must still write, because that is the only way to satisfy my cravings
the children keep crawling onto the roof of the greenhouse and getting into fistfights with giant birds, then dying when they fall off. this is about dwarf fortress, but really, what parent has not had this problem.

do not joke about the advertisements, do not engage with the advertisements in witty fashions, do not, fucking, mention the contents of the advertisements. as soon as an advertisement enters your mind, you kill it, dont care how cute it is, take it out back and shoot it. install adblock, ublock, mute the volume, look away, turn off the monitor, cover your ears, paint over it. evolve your mind, your modality, your instincts, to disregard the stimuli of advertisements before you can even process it. whatever it takes, you do not let them win. and thats an order.
