“cis-het perisex white able-bodied neurotypical men can’t be oppressed” -> buddy let me tell you about wealth and class and homelessness and immigrants and minority languages and cultures and being a child and being an elderly person and and and
we can keep doing this all day but the reality of the world is that very few people don’t face any kind of oppression at all and everyone exists in a complicated, intersecting web where they have privileges over some people in some contexts and some others are have privilege over them in other contexts. no one individual is incapable of enacting oppression and if you think that about yourself you need to go away and interrogate that belief.

being made by vitro fertilisation (IVF) is so funny. my parent didn't have sex, my parents conducted an experiment with a scientist. my humble beginnings can be traced to a petri dish. some person i dont know clocked in to work and then just made me. i was made in a lab and i didn't even get any cool powers or anything. im just a girl that has to work 9 to 5
a tag mentioned how likely it is for ivf to produce twins and it reminded me of the fact that i ate my twin in the womb. so maybe my secret power is eating people

tbh foreign policy was listed as the least important issue for exit polls, arab and muslim heavy states like minnesota and michigan are not what lost harris the vote, and jill stein got under like one percent. everyone making this about leftists who didnt vote either pro or against is making something out of basically nothing. americans are fundamentally boring and apolitical and above all completely self centered. they do not give a fuck about the suffering of people in palestine or ukraine. they just know that gas was cheaper 4 years ago or whatever. the amount of incredibly normal people i know who arent even right wing so much as just sort of uneducated and incurious about any issues / had no interests beyond like big ten sports or binge drinking or getting ahead at work and getting rich are voting for him not people who agonized over a single thing ever. this is unfortunately a non issue bc americans dont care about anything but themselves, you just happen to be around small groups of the exception
