most videos uploaded are default 264. some will get a av1, but that's usually in addition to the 264.if you click on download, you will see the two different options. so if you are having trouble with av1, just choose the 264.
The problem isn't the download, the problem is on the site, if its AV1, it will stutter like crazy when playing on site. This doesn't happen if its 264 only
