This was a really good game! Loved all the visuals and audio. The upgrade system was also really innovative with a debuff added to every buff. Not many issues except that i did end up getting stuck on the walls at the edge of the map due to the enemies pushing me and i couldnt kill them because my bullets would hit the wall barrier
Amazing game! I like the pixel art style, music, sound effects, and voice acting! I had a great time surviving each type of enemy in each wave and getting a new buff/debuff. Awesome work!
Extremely polished game with a mechanic similar to ours! The debuffs were pretty clever and very fitting to the robot main character. I especially LOVED the “input delay” and “gun malfunction” debuffs, I don’t think I’ve seen those mechanics anywhere else, ESPECIALLY the input delay which was super annoying but super fun at the same time!
I played the game for way longer than expected, and that should be telling you something!
The voice acting was also spot-on! Good job in everything!
At first, I was skeptical of the debuff system, but the ability to skip an upgrade in exchange for removing a debuff is a really clever addition. I did feel like some of the upgrades weren't impactful enough, and some of the debuffs were too punishing; for example, several damage upgrades left one or more of the enemy types with a sliver of health left, which was pretty unsatisfying, and debuffs to movement speed or malfunction chance felt pretty bad when your movement and fire rate already start so slow. Still, overall I enjoyed trying for a high score (got to wave 17) and trying to cater my build to my personal tastes (glass cannon with steady damage and fire rate). And I was cackling at the intro and some of the death screams and robot lines. Neat stuff!
Such a fun game! Great idea, very funny concept, and I love the upgrade system with downsides, it makes for interesting decitions.
Good game! Very nice art and sounds.
This was awesome! I really loved the voice-overs you made for this. So funny. Music and artwork was great. Nice character animations. Well-balanced gameplay. I have nothing but praise for this. Very nice work :)
Btw. I got to wave 11, then it all went wrong, because I had sacrificed way too much of my health for greater critical chance XD
Nice voice acting and upgrade choices. I would have liked to be able to aim with the mouse, but once I figured out the controls it was pretty straight forward.
Audio was really great and made this game extra enjoyable!
Really impressive voice acting! Also I enjoyed all unique the buffs/ debuffs
The voicelines are very cool, I like the system of buffs and debuffs, maybe there was too much gray in the scene, but the art was very good :)
I like your style and audio! But...Why was there an invisible enemy in the first wave? I watched myself inexplicably bleed, and on the right side, there was still an enemy displayed. After dying and starting over, it's the same. After killing two enemies, I can only watch myself being killed by the remaining non-existent enemy. What's going on here?
Try running it on google chrome if your not already, and if you are try refreshing the page. Should fix the issue!
Amazing! Pure fun! The audio is amazing, and the game feels very polished. Good job!
One of the best games this jam! Visual and audio are good. Love the concept of upgrading and breaking your character at the same time (my game also uses the same concept :D)
That said, for now the best upgrades are attack speed and damage are enough to survive forever, I only need to pick these upgrades and erase all the bug after that. In my opinion, because of the lack of surviving goals, enemies's variety ... make it feels insignificant to have to constantly upgrade my stats.
I'm willing to provide even more and detailed feedbacks if you guys need them! Overall, I had a great time! This game has so much potential and rooms to grow into a hit!
Excellent voice acting, driving music. I really liked the animations of bugs appearing) Overall, a great game!
Nice entry ! maybe having a way to auto shoot would be even better but nice entry :)
A really fun and well put together game! The audio was phenomenal and I loved the robot's voicelines!
amazing game
Brilliant audio on all fronts. The music really helped the overall feel of the game, and the voice acting added so much charm! Really nice game!
Nice game, I really liked it, it even had perfect dubbing
