Very interesting, cool use of the theme! I didn't really understand why I had to break those containers though.

Developer

Yeah I didn't get to show the explanation of the objective because I ran out of time :( The idea is that you are freeing your friends!

I liked the game mechanic of “losing” your protector.

The slime is cute.

Controls are very good.

I'd love to play future levels, a little more tricky. I finished the game very quickly.

Did you try Angry Shepherd?

Cool game! And lovely slime :)

This is awesome! You got more done in a week than our team of 4. I really like the wall slide animation.

I love the art style of this game—it’s cute and unique! I hope there will be more updates, and I’m definitely ready to come back and play again.

Great and cute concept for a game! Freeing your slimy friend from their glass cages, fun!
The movement feels great coupled with excellent animations, creating a very smooth overall experience!
The levels are well balanced, not too hard but not to easy either.

Overall this was a great experience!

what a cute little slime! I love discovering all the text on the walls, too

Yooo another member of the slime squad :3.  I think you have a knack for pixel art ^_^.  Like the gameplay idea that's all about separating with an object. Think making it easier to break out the other slimes (make it instant) and experiment with other ways of creating that separation would be fun. I enjoyed the tutorial and the text at the bottom of the pit at the start too :p.

I am so glad to know that people are finding the hidden message

I liked the overall art!

Filling up missing SFX would make mush better!

Nice work

I think the art is great, especially the player animations, and I like the idea of a slime saving their friends! For game feel, maybe try implementing coyote timer or buffer jumps, and I'd suggest experimenting with the camera as well.  Congrats on finishing and submitting!

This is cute. I liked the mechanics around getting away from the orb. It would have been nice to see that developed more.

Thank you!  I'm hoping to further flesh out the game in the future

Fun premise, and I really liked the art style! Having the camera so zoomed in and so far up made me feel anxious, especially when dropping. But I think there is potential for more fun puzzles here! Well done

I thought it was fun! I liked the puzzles! For anyone wanting to play: try zooming in on your browser to get fullscreen :D

I'm not sure is it possible to go full screen, but I wasn't able to and I can't really see anything or play the game properly.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!, Turns out I forgot to configure the viewport when I exported the project. The page has been updated with a supposedly fixed version!

I played again, and I love the art. The idle animation on slime is so cute! There is a tons of techniques for platformer games and I recommend adding them like "coyote timer"  and "jump buffer" for better feels. Lastly I couldn't really understand how this fits with the theme "nothing can go wrong"

Developer

Yeah unfortunately some of the art that helped tie it into the theme didn't get implemented due to time constraints

The idea was that the player (a mischievous slime known for causing trouble) was given this companion orb which prevents it from causing trouble (in a sense making it where "nothing can go wrong")

I appreciate the suggestions and I hope to implement them after the judging period has concluded
