super creative and in-depth! i feel like i could get really lost in this game. it was a bit cryptic trying to figure out what i was affecting off the bat, but now that i'm getting the hang of it i'm excited to dive further into this world and see what it has in store for me 🌘

Thank you for giving it a try, rae! Congrats again on your W! :)

I really like the hand lettering (?) on the initial card

Developer

Thanks! Yes, lettering I think! I tried to do it with the line tool at first but then I just did it by hand, haha. I did spend some care on it so I appreciate the compliment!

I'm not one for text-based games, but I can see that this is a great narrative experience that is perfectly on-theme for this jam. The puzzle element of the moon phases is super nifty, though I feel as though I'm too daft to make sense of it. My failing, not yours!

Developer

Thanks Hekhound for your positive comments and for trying something you were on the fence about! I appreciate your support. I definitely think the puzzles could be improved but I appreciate the kindness :)

I really liked this spin on a text adventure with the added dimension of the moon phases, and I like that the game leaned in on the sort of abstract nature of it. It felt foreign and confusing at first, but I soon learned to understand its language of interaction with a little bit of exploring and reflection. I love when games do this. Really cool!

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words! It's great to have the choices I made recognized -- "foreign" is definitely a feeling I wanted to evoke, for example! If I were to expand this game, I'd like to continue to reveal more about the world and the beings inside it with new scenarios and situations!

Very original text-based approach (I wrote some notes to avoid just checking all options randomly :-D), for now I'll switch to the other games to rate them all but I will probably come back to do more runs! Great one!

Developer

Thank you for playing! If I had more time, I would have explored a system where you could hold B to save a fact you learned to "reflect" on later, accessible from the Menu.

This was an amazing adventure, thank you for making it!  I really enjoyed puzzle aspects but even more so the narrative/dialogue.
I forgot all about Oorta on my first play-through so I gotta go back and check him back out!

Developer

Thank you very much for the kind words! It means a lot to me that you enjoyed it.
