TUMBLR PSA: {reason for the blog switch over again}

IF YOU GET SENT ANYTHING FROM /ITHILLYIENSEOWYNPOSTS OR BY EXTENSION /ITHILLYIENSEOWYN AT RANDOM OR SUDDENLY IT IS NOT ME

I got sent a DM last night via another tumblr user, who I followed but never spoke to ever asking me if I was busy. I thought it was weird because i never really reach out to anybody unless we’ve had a back and forth or if I believe you to be a trusted mutual.

They then said/sent the standard ‘hey I went to report someone and accidentally reported you instead’ further making me feel weird because I’ve never once had anything pertaining to what I was apparently reported for. I was suppose to get in contact with a guy called 'Xavier Carreras’ on discord as the live tumblr dispute support and in a blind panic I unfortunately realized too late that I got bamboozled into this crap. Because I remembered another user I follow @nessa007 talk about a similar thing that had happened to them a few days ago in their own post. And my sister also realized that I was in the process of getting scammed. I spent the majority of the night too stressed to do anything.

Thankfully, I had a fast back up contingency plan and my sister gave me her unused account which I’m currently using, it wasn’t until this afternoon when I got hit with my old tumblr /ithillyienseowynposts doing the standard follow, message/dm only this time I got it sent through my askbox. Now knowing what is actually happening in regards to this situation I obviously deleted the message without further thought.

It wasn’t until @superdanys posted about my old tumblr sending them phantom messages/dm that I realized my old tumblr was making the rounds, and I attempted to reach out to them to reassure them that I managed to make an immediate switch up. Whether they got the message I sent them, I don’t know.

I went to a handful of mutuals dms last night after remaking this tumblr to give them a quick 'hey follow back please request’ because of how unexpected this was but in hindsight the whole situation had me feeling a rush load of embarrassment and I wish I had put two and two together before it got as far as it did. Because now I’m back to transferring archive posts again.

love watching c2 and whenever the nein don't know something, there's always a pattern that follows. first, they turn to the nerds (caleb and beau) and ask if they know it. then the nerds look at each other and wrack their heads to see if they do. if on the odd the chance they don't, the nerds make a trip to the nearest library and plan to barricade themselves in until they fill that gap in their knowledge. then they turn to the clerics (jester and cad) who then ask their gods. one talks to the wind and the other talks to a weasel. the guy talking to the wind is more successful at times. then they spend five more hours planning until fjord just decides to slam the red button. cinema.
