I love personalization. I love stickers on water bottles and on laptops. I love shitty marker drawing on the toes of converse. I love hand embroidered doodles on jeans. I love posters on walls. I love knick knacks on shelves. I love jewelry with goofy charms. I love when people take things and make them theirs.

the secret to living a calm and confident life lies in being organised and prepared. when you are always scrambling, searching, stumbling, you create an energy of chaos. part of respecting yourself is adequately preparing yourself for what lies ahead, through organisation and practise.

lots of people asking how and i find the easiest way is to objectively look at your daily life, how you actually live, and pay attention to any tension points. at what points are you scrambling or getting frustrated? when are you like ARGH why can i never find (pen, scissors, make up item, keys etc)?! and create a little system or solution to solve that. always rifling through that drawer that’s full of crap? just clean out the drawer babe. keep messing up your presentations? finish early and dedicate more time to rehearsing the actual performance aspect. usually when we are underperforming or feeling frustrated in life we just lack the corresponding skill or system to make it easier, so identify the gap and fill it. most of life is just problem solving. which is also a skill. just slow down a bit and start with little things in your daily life. you don’t need to change everything at once (it won’t stick anyway, go slow). with time you get used to being more objective and naturally create strategies that solve problems rather than just crashing through life in uncontrollable chaos.
