Hey everyone 💛 This month I’m releasing something a little different, and honestly, one of my biggest projects yet. Bikes in The Sims have always felt a bit forgotten. FI loved them back when Discover University came out; riding around Britechester was perfect. But outside of that, I always ended up ignoring them. They just never became part of my regular household gameplay.
That’s exactly where this mod comes in. The Ride Together Mod finally makes biking feel relevant again, not just as a way to move around, but as something social, playful, and immersive. Whether it’s a late-night teen hangout, a romantic evening ride, or just exploring the city with friends, bikes now feel like part of your Sims’ stories.
◆ Mod Description:
As you’ve probably guessed by now, this mod introduces the ability for Sims to ride together on a single bike. For the first time, two Sims can share the same ride and traverse the terrain with others,
The mod adds five new ride types your Sims can do together, each with its own unique vibe: Casual, Scenic, Intimate, Risky, and Flirty Risky. Every style brings different moods and buffs, from playful to flirty to tense. On regular bikes, carrying a passenger will drain Energy and Hygiene, and low-Fitness Sims risk getting sore legs or even a fear of falling from certain types of rides.
◈ Custom Bicycles
Vintage Classic Bicycle → Buyable in Build/Buy for §800 with 30 swatches.
Functions like a normal bike, but also supports all Ride Together interactions.
Styled after a real brand, so it blends seamlessly into the game.
◈ eBike Rental System
I also added a new Rental mechanic with a fully functional eBike Rental Station.
Rent an eBike for 5h (§25), 12h (§50), or 24h (§100).
If you don’t return it in time, you’ll get fined and receive an Uncomfortable/Embarrassed moodlet.
eBikes can be returned (and fines paid) at the station or at any mailbox.
Only the renter and their household can use the eBike, but I added a debug option for NPC access if you need it.
Unlike vintage bikes, eBikes have special benefits:
No Energy/Hygiene drain.
No negative buffs — even with low Fitness.
Perfect for vacations when you want to explore freely without worrying about needs.
Rental Stations and eBikes come in 6 swatches, each linked (grey station = grey eBike). Decorative props like Parking Docks and Non-Functional eBikes are also included so you can build custom rental setups.
◈ How It Works
Choose a ride type → pick your passenger.
Sims can either “Bike Here” (to a location) or “Ride Around” (for hangouts).
All the bikes in the mod can work as any regular bike
But e-bikes won't let youre Sims have any negative side effects that regular bikes have, like decreased energy or hygiene
The driver can already be on the bike before adding a passenger.
To switch ride types, the passenger must hop off first, then rejoin.
