This season kind of snuck up on me, so I haven't changed much since the last one. Let me know if anything should be updated.

Owen having a conversation with the Doctor that mirrors his episode one talk with Scott at the obelisk beacon.
Encountering Legs, who has decided the time has come to do some harm to prevent much more from happening, holding a shield on one arm, a silver sword grasped in his hand in that casual, controlled manner that only comes with intimate familiarity with the weight of a blade.
“I see. As I suspected all those weeks ago, now that your patience has worn away, you are here like all the others, to slay the terrible monster before you.”
“I don't want to hurt you, Owen. & I still don't think you are a monster.”
Owen’s lip curling in frustration, unable to keep from prodding at him, trying to force him to show his true colours.
“Oh? Tell me, what do your precious oaths say about intentional bloodshed? You’ve seemed rather against the concept previously. Have you decided the 2799 lives I’ve snuffed out from this world with my bare hands are inconsequential now? That you’re actually alright with the blood I’ve spilled since we’ve been trapped here? I must say that is quite the dramatic change of ethics.”
"Even if I did find you monstrous, I have no business calling anyone else a monster."
"Come now, Doctor. I understand you have an overdeveloped sense of responsibility to save everyone you meet, but this gross exaggeration of your sins to prove a point is really unbecoming."
There being bitterness in Doc's voice when he replies, all of it turned inwards. "No exaggeration needed, unfortunately. I have no right to think you're a monster when there's more blood on my hands than yours several times over before even including the people I've failed to save as a regular doctor."
Owen just freezing, staring at Doc. "Several ti-"
"& unless you you've sired any new vampires since we last talked, you've never been the cause of someone feeling they needed to eat other people. So you're less of a monster than me there too." Doc letting out a single laugh, a weak, mirthless thing that is more a snort of self-hatred than anything.
One silly thing I keep getting to when I think a bit too much about Vampires SMP is the idea how bizarre some of those dudes names are. Avid? Drift? ABOLISH? Those are WORDS. But than I remember the fact thet virtue names exist and how popular they used to be (Even the most bizarre examples) and It becomes soooo much funnier to suspend my disbelief and imagine a world in which those people actually goes by those names, given to them at birth by thier parents type of shit ya know:
Imagine you have a baby and the baby is a bit tooo hyperactive for your likeing so you say that he's soooo avid about existing i GUESS and than think to yourself "Yeah this is what i should name my child".
Apo's parents either just went, yeah the child is quiet we can name her that or had some elaborate pretentious plan about it.
Abolish's parents naming him like that™ so he can eventually crash out in the middle of mines in thier ancestral town and abolish the hegemony of Goldsmith's with his one hell of a combat butler skills.
Why in gods name one would call thier daughter DRIFT???? Whats is she drifting on?
And what the fuck is a legundo
I know we all adore the idea of Louis dying and mentally begging Owen to have mercy on the townsfolk and Louis forgiving the townsfolk in his final moment and I know that the characterization of him up to this point has supported this but what if he was angry? What if he was angry that the townsfolk took him from his lover? What if he felt sorry for them because they were so rash and violent? What if he felt betrayed by the townsfolk and that betrayal manifested itself as rage? What if he was angry that he was finally gonna get the life he dreamed of with his partner and they took it from him? What if he and Owen matched eachother's freak
owen finds out that legs is a vampire (he isn’t) and instead of being really happy that’s he’s “accepted their gift” or being mad that legs didn’t tell him, he gets all jealous about it. he mentions it every argument with the same tone of a girl whose boyfriend said another woman was prettier than her. like your house cat when you show up smelling like another animal that you pet. “wdym you let someone ELSE turn you? after i spent all that time trying to convince you to join us? i can’t believe you. wait where are you going. im not done yelling at you get back here.”
I was given a prompt.
I will respect the privacy of my patients, for their problems are not disclosed to me that the world may know. Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty. Above all, I must not play at God.
