Patreon sketch reward of Superman
Being good and kind is what Superman is Al about. This right here is why he’ll always be one of my favorite heroes.

this is my favourite video rn btw
The name's not even a joke xD
"Bin", means "from", so he's just called "John from London" in arabic.
"Bin" doesn't mean "from", it means "son of" (from proto-Semitic "*bin" for son; cf. Biblical Hebrew "ben" = son in construct state)
So he's actually calling himself/they're calling him "John son of London". Or probably more accurately/idiomatically would be represented as a name like John Londonson or similar
Yeah I remember this actually happened in the show🙄👉🏻👈🏻
Was looking at some early mid century fashion and wanted to draw a female version of Alastor (Astoria?) dressed up. She's got a birdcage veil on her hat to both cast a spooky shadow over her face and to go with her whole "face made for radio" thing. I gave some nods to Rosie's styling with the slim black skirt and hat, but she deliberately breaks away from Rosie's silhouette with her swing coat. Also gave her some teeth buttons to tie in the piping on her lapels
sorry not sorry, but to me, anyone who goes "if you are supporting x media because of x bad representation" or "x fans should not be comfortable in fandom spaces" or any variation of "if you agree with x decision regarding representative characters, you are the bad guy" is getting blocked.
can you say that something is done poorly? fuck yeah! i don't have a problem if you disagree with a casting choice, or a plotline, or a character arc, because that is your right as a human being. The problem is when you take it a step further and say "enjoying this means you should not be allowed to feel safe." liking a piece of "bad media" or whatever you want to call it is not something that makes you evil or bigoted or anything. and yeah, ignorance is bliss is all that and maybe people who are enjoying the thing don't know it's bad rep or problematic or whatever you wanna call it.
but honestly? that shouldn't matter.
people's enjoyment of fictional media, something which i firmly believe does not tie into their value, has you wanting to strip their safety away from them? you are not welcome here.
don't like that? well, okay, but my blog ain't the place for you.
but i have spent far too many years being terrified of liking the things i like because they're "bad rep" or "too childish" or "too weird" to start tolerating that sort of mindset on my own damn blog.
it’s not accurate 100% of the time, but any time you’re in a fandom environment and someone tells you the only way you can be a true fan is to support (ship/character interpretation/fanon agreement) or frankly any other “rule”, that’s not a healthy fan environment and I promise you will be happier elsewhere.
Look I don’t care how implausible it is, I don’t care how ridiculous it is. Dick is eight years old when he becomes Robin. It’s the funniest fuckin thing and I refuse to ever make him older than eight when he bullies a grown ass Bruce into letting him go out at night with him.
Does Bruce take him on kiddie runs until he’s a little older? Maybe. Does Batman stand menacingly behind a brightly colored little bird to threaten the goons while Robin can’t see him? You know he does.
But Robin is still actually terrifying when he first appears on the scene, because he’s a teeny tiny fluttery little thing that does cartwheels and handstands and makes puns then launches himself full force to kick a man in the nose and then cackles when he bleeds. His laughter makes goons shiver, they hear it bouncing around warehouses and half of them bolt, because they learn very quickly what happens when a feral Robin appears.
The Gotham rogues all immediately have beef with a literal third grader because he took the bats attention away and also because he’s roundhouse kicked them all in the shins at some point and that shit hurt like hell, and then he laughed in their faces while making a pun about their villain name.
Majority of the rogues everywhere hate Nightwing because they all know he used to be the feral child that they all thought Batman should have put on a leash, half of them have been straight up bitten by him before he lost all his baby teeth, and they’re all so bitter about the fact that they’ve been beaten by an actual elementary school student. And now he’s all grown up? He’s fucking terrifying.
Young Justice Robin’s laugh is one of my favorite things about him ❤️
Ok,
there's this giant shadowy bat like thing that just showed up in the city one day, you're not sure if it is a man or some demon, it's Gotham you're not saying it's impossible, so far the people it goes after are all criminals, they're hurt but not lethally, so you let it slide for now, I mean what are you going to do arrest a hallucination conjured up by drug dealers with severe head trauma? until you meet it one night, it has a voice of a man but like gravel an echo lost down the street, he fights for justice he says, so you let it slide, you work with him, then came the Halley Circus tragedy, two acrobats, the wire cut, their eight year old orphaned, nasty work, but he was taken in by Bruce Wayne, you know him, you know he's better than his reputation claims, the kids in safe hands at least until they catch the bastard that did this, then one day you get called out Tony Zucco has been caught, guy's gibbering about a bat, no surprise, but...a little laughing shadow? then as time goes on more reports the Batman has a little shadow, one the flitters around with ceaseless mocking laughter, he's even bitten a few, lucky them it's fangs didn't grow in yet, then one night you're on the roof, you're talking to Batman about a case in the back of your mind wondering if this thing really did procreate when you hear a little luagh behind you, you turn but there's nothing, a flash of red? green? yellow? out of the corner of your eye and you see the white eyes of batman look down to a smaller pair of gleeful eyes in his shadow
