If you have to create a tutorial (in-game or in video) to explain how to do everything in the game to people who've played the game before, maybe your mechanics aren't designed well and need better guidance. The fact you feel annoyed sharing this video points to this being a very common issue. Intuitive design is difficult, but no need to be so annoyed.
Steam recently updates their policies if I'm not mistaken, so you can no longer release updates for h-games on steam or something like that, only upload full titles. So if I do release Innventure on Steam, it'll happen once the game is complete.

You can make fan translations by coping the EN.json file in the localizations/ folder. Chinese localization for example was made by a fan in the discord server and we just included it in the official release, with their agreement.
I'm getting mad, how am I supposed to take a drink to serve? I have the tray, there are no glasses, I keep lmb the bottles, e the bottles, Space the bottles, 123 the bottles... what does the game want from me?
here's me completing all tasks in case you need demonstration. You just need either click a bottle/glass while holding a tray (and having an empty slot selected, you can select slots via mouse wheel), or take a bottle/glass into your hands and click onto the tray
I just downloaded the new update but when I try to launch it only a clear tab appears and closes seconds later. Is it a problem with my software or a bug in the new update that got missed?
If it doesn't boot up it's probably something on your end, perhaps an older GPU or something along the lines. I can't fix that. You can try launching the game in the opengl3 mode (google instructions), it might help, but I'm not sure
I had the same problem, but I finally fixed it with following way: open the folder with "innventure.exe", create a shortcut, open properties, put "--rendering-driver opengl3" at the end of Target field, and run the shortcut.
Since Itch is removing a lot of games, will you make the game available for purchase on platforms that are fighting the censorship going on? Like GOG, Nutaku and Kagura games store.

Hi. I'm not sure I'll move away from itch entirely, but it seems like selling an h-game in here is no longer an option. I'm currently working on wrapping-up the "final" update for Innventure, along with another dev. By the time the update is finished and is supposed to go live we might decide to make Innventure free on itch and just post a free demo in here (entirety of the game gameplay-wise, but without unlockable characters), and make our own website/launcher to handle distribution, updates, and payments for the full version of the game.
Full version will be available on Patreon, and you'll be able to use said website/launcher to verify you've bought the game previously on itch, so no need to pay twice or anything like that. I'm not sure if going to a different store is any different from staying on itch, since everyone are affected by the same issue.
I'm also going to start working on a new game after we finish Innventure, and the new one is going to be free. I learned that it's too much of a hustle to make a paid game nowadays, too many obstacles and dangers to your product without any real reason behind it. Kinda sad but also gives new possibilities.
The approximate Patreon-release date for this update is end of August. After that it'll take us probably a week or two to test and fix things, and then it can be dropped to itch in a demo format. Well, making your own website might not be needed, GOG started protesting against the censorship by making a lot of controversial games(Postal 2 and a lot of H-games) free for a short time, Nutaku added a few alternatives to pay, as a response to the censorship, and Kagura will also not go down with a fight.

The dev is basically creating a whole new game at this point, so I would hold off on purchasing until he releases update #5. It looks promising, and they said it was close to release, but it's been that way for a little while now. To answer your other question, no, it has not received an update since 05 Sept. of 2024.
I am working on basically the "last" update of the game. After I release it - it's no longer gonna be in active development as it was for the last couple years. It's my first game so I made a lot of dumb mistakes along the way. I can tell you for sure that a game of this scale should NOT take more than 8 months to develop fully, from the first prototype build to the official release.
I will most likely release couple more minor updates eventually, adding new characters and some tech stuff for mod support I guess if it'll be requested.
But yeah it's not a good game, I consider the previous versions to be bad, and this latest update I'm working on to be DECENT, good enough, but not actually good. It could've been much more if I had more experience when I initially started, but it was kinda unavoidable so I'm just grateful at least some people managed to enjoy it and find it interesting. I hope to make better games in the future, after I'm done with Innventure.

Hey, yeah. Sorry it's taking so long, it's a big update and I'm taking my time with it + I'm generally burnt out at the moment. Here's some footage of how updated serving mechanic looks like now. It isn't shown in the video, but you will now have to pour alcohol in glass, instead of handing out actual bottles (unless you're specifically asked to do so)
there is currently 2 unlockable characters each with special abilites and 4 total playable characters. But on the next update it supposely increase by 2. (next update may be within late may however ino its better js to assume apirl 1st)
But yes, all characters are unlockable.

You're shamelessly ripping off Lifeweb—lore, music, even the name of the inn—and trying to pass it off as your own original game.
Charging $10 for something that leans this heavily on another game's identity is not just lazy, it's dishonest. At the very least, have the decency to credit your source instead of pretending you made something unique.
It is an original game, made solely by one person, and all assets are made by me (except for sounds which are mostly taken from freesound libraries or other royalty free sources)
Though it was inspired by it (I did play the game from 2013 to around 2018) - postapocalyptic caves are not unique, and the lore is more "ripped off" of Arx Fatalis than Lifeweb, plus mixed around with some cliche anime fantasy tropes.
I am not pretending to make something unique, I'm just making something I personally would like to play, and sharing it with others.
A lot of games inspired me to make this one. Degrees of Lewdity, Captivity, Arx Fatalis, LonaRPG. I don't think it's necessary to write down every single game that I've found to be inspiring to start my own (but I do talk about those occasionally in my discord server) - the list would be too long. I don't think I'll be responding to this chain of posts any further, have fun playing Innventure. Or don't.

People ALWAYS take some inspiration from other sources when creating their own, there is no such problem with this.
There is another game in this site that HEAVILY take inspiration from Karryn's Prison, instead of complaining I think it's great, because they took the good parts of that game and added to their own while making an entire new system, and the game looks great.
You only buy it once and get the updates for free. And uhhh... I have no plans currently to release it on steam, at least until it goes into a full 1.0 release. If I do release it on steam - I'll make sure to give out digital keys to people who already bought it on itch (I have a list of emails of every person who've bought the game)
if your looking to buy the game.. PLEASE DO, this is one of the best H games ive played and is def worth the price. The only 'issue' is the lack of content so far, but as soon as the game updates i doubt that'll be an issue.

Marika's special ability allows her to instantly restore her flashing meter (might change in the future), and Efa's special ability allows her to levitate trash and teleport it elsewhere, effectively getting rid of it

1. Fast-forward or speeding up the sex process like by mashing A and D Buttons
2. Make an option where you can talk to clients or even offers service
3. Make like each sex have levels where you can level up and earn more money
4. Add sexy dress or toys (Just Random Idea)
5. Add some side quest or mission like exploring town or suck 3 dicks like that
