I’m (hopefully?) easing out of my burnout era and into my ANN reviewer era. Special thanks to the McElroys for this year’s theme, “Twenty-ThunderDrive: Faster Than Fear,” which motivated me to try writing again. Absolutely no thanks to being unemployed for three months, which also motivated me, but in a much less fun way.

Gutted about Nick/LossThief’s passing. We were mutuals for almost 10 years. We didn’t chat a ton, but I always loved when we did. Whether it was about Pokemon, basketball, underrated shoujo, or just trading bad puns, he was so friendly, sharp, and funny. I’m really gonna miss you, Nick.
…I also know you’d be BEGGING me to inject some levity into this memoriam, so forget angels - as a fellow Dance with Devils defender, I hope a full pomeranian choir sung thee to thy rest 💙
