Today is a good day so have the first crumb of the Dragon/Knight Fantasy AU!

A lil bit of context for this AU:

Instead of marrying the Princess to a random person, royal families follow a long tradition of putting the Princess into a tower/castle with a strong beast (often a dragon) as guardian. Only the strongest, most brave and virtuous person is able to rescue the Princess and is worth marrying them.

Ages ago this quest was honoured with respect and was like the holy grail for any knight, but over time it became less about virtue, honor and the Princess but more about showing off, power and collecting trophies (beast's head/teeth, treasure etc). Crowley smells those "fake" knights from miles ago and makes sure that no Princess he guards should ever fall in the hands of a person with a rotten heart (ofc he never openly admitted that he is secretly looking out for the people he is guarding and makes sure they get their happy ending).

Maggie is the current Princess of the castle that is protected by Crowley. She is the first one that ever bothered to get to know Crowley and see the dragon as a friend rather than just a guardian who does it's job. They enjoy each others company and like to gossip about the newest contestants who try to slay the dragon for glory, riches and the hand of the Princess.

P.s.: I decided to go for a semi-comic or even non-comic style for this series because of lack of time. So future parts might just be a collection of drawings or sketches instead of this clean comic style 🙈
