Hello I love your work <3. This is kind of an odd request so you could ignore it if you like. Could you write Crocodile and Doflamingo being interested in the same girl and how they would compete against each other? Thank you so much for your consideration anyway!

𝙳𝚘𝚏𝚕𝚊𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚘, 𝚂𝚒𝚛 𝙲𝚛𝚘𝚌𝚘𝚍𝚒𝚕𝚎 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚙𝚎𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚊𝚖𝚎 𝚁𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚛

  • For these two monsters to feel genuine love, she has to be the living embodiment of everything they lost. For Crocodile, she represents the "dawn" he stopped believing in—the idealism, the hope, and the warmth that he buried under layers of cynicism. For Doflamingo, she is the only "family" he has left—a person who accepts the twisted, broken parts of him without flinching. They don't just want her; they need her to feel whole again.

  • Crocodile: His love isn't spoken; it's architecturally built. He creates a physical and emotional fortress around her. If she's cold, he give her his coat. If she's sad, he silently annihilates the source of her pain. He treats her like a fragile, rare treasure. His romance is heavy, serious, and deeply protective. He’ll sit by her bedside while she sleeps, hook resting on the railing, watching her breathe because it’s the only peace he’s known in decades. He offers her a love that is a shelter against the storm.

  • Doflamingo: His love is loud, possessive, and all-consuming. He wants to be the only thing she sees. He uses his Devil Fruit power to physically lift her up, literally carrying her above the crowds so she never has to touch the dirty ground. He wants to share his warped view of the world with her—showing her the burning cities and the falling stars like they're romantic dates. He calls her his "little bird" and constantly preens her, demanding she rely on him for everything. He offers her a love that is a wild, untamed fire, burning anyone who dares to look at her.

  • When they fight over her, it's not about ego anymore; it's about who can keep her safer.

  • Crocodile views Doflamingo as a chaotic infection that will get her killed. He’ll aggressively step between them, using his bulk to shield her, warning her that Doflamingo’s "love" is just another form of violence. He argues that he can give her a kingdom where she rules in peace.

  • Doflamingo views Crocodile as a jailer. He’ll laugh in Crocodile’s face and try to physically pull her into his embrace, arguing that Crocodile will just bore her and lock her away in a golden cage. He tells her that with him, she’ll be a god, not a queen.

  • Crocodile’s romantic peak is a quiet moment where he hands her a frozen Logia Pose of a beautiful, untouched island, telling her, "When this world burns, this is where I'll take you. Just you and me."

  • Doflamingo’s romantic peak is when he uses his strings to gently wipe a tear from her cheek, his face devoid of his usual smirk, whispering, "Don't cry. If the world makes you cry, I'll just slice the world in half." It’s destruction for her sake.

  • The tragedy is that they are both right, and both wrong. Crocodile loves her enough to let her go if she truly wanted freedom, but he wouldn't survive it. Doflamingo loves her enough to burn the world down for her, but he wouldn't know how to hold her gently without breaking her. The headcanon is that she becomes the anchor between them—Crocodile is the ground she stands on, and Doflamingo is the sky she looks at. They never truly "win" her, because she is the only thing bigger than both of their egos combined.

  • ᡣ𐭩 𝐒ir 𝐂rocodile had known defeat. Defeat at the hands of Whitebeard, resulting in his infamous scar and hook. Defeat at the hands of Straw Hat Luffy, resulting in the failure of the Coup d'etat in Alabasta and his incarceration at Impel Down. However, none came close to the loss of his wife. His partner in crime, his only partner for life. No. He had long placed aside his pride to face the depth of the damage the divorce had caused his heart. Yet, every once in a while, they both find themselves lingering in the ruins of their love.

—SIR CROCODILE is a divorced man. Or rather, a miserable divorced man. There is no more to that other than the fact that he misses her deeply and only through losing her did he realise her true worth.

Countless nights has he isolated himself in his office, seated behind his desk puffing out plumes of his misery and drowning in the burn of his scotch.

Too many times has he seen the arms of unworthy dogs curled around her waist—none was he able to prevent. What right had he? He was the one who drove her away. He had no-one to blame but himself.

— Thoughts... Sir Crocodile likes to spoil 🐊

So, here's a thought...

Hear me out. Rich criminal, who doesn't have time for the fickle thing they call "love," having a lover and being devoted because it isn't often (if at all) that he finds himself spoken for.

Suddenly, you're finding new clothes tailored to your exact size in your closet, jewellery you don't remember having, accessories he thought you'd like, and—if we're going on the slightly more intimate side of things—silks and lingerie crafted to show you for him like you are some undiscovered treasure and he was the dragon hoarding it. Besides, some of his pride demands him to partially show you off and how well he can take care of you.

Hey, call me delusional but I can see him doing this. Bonus points if you like to spend/your love language is gifting. More for him to show off and revel in your pretty smile as you open your fourth gift of the afternoon.

DQ doflamingo drabble

Doflamingo—for all his grandiosity—is a man who truly only wanted one simple thing. Family.

Sure, taking over the world was another one of his many grand ambitions, but nothing ever really matched the importance of having a family. Still, his mind had warped the meaning of family to simply being worshipped. And no one objected. No one stood against him to tell him that his perception of family is incorrect. If they did, well... it'd be a rather untimely death, no?

But something changed when you bore his little one. His girl, his princess. Suddenly, he felt an urge he had never before. An urge to... serve? No. That wasn't it. Doflamingo doesn't serve anyone. To love, perhaps? That word alone was too vulnerable, but it was close. Perhaps even spot on.

Yes, it was. Suddenly, there was something more important than a scheduled meeting with his family. Why couldn't he resist the whines and whimpers of his little dear who demanded he stay and play with her? Why did he give in? Why did it feel good giving in? Why did he feel fulfilled watching you play with his daughter, enjoying the simple pleasures of life, run after her if she was holding something suspicious for a child. Why did that feel better than ruling?

There is a simple answer to that question. Though, his pride is much too massive to admit it until that sentence.

"¡Te amo, papá!"

Yes. That was it. It was simple love. What could he say to that? What could he say to something he has wanted when he once had nothing?

"Te amo, mi tesoro..."

Ever since then, Doflamingo knew that he—for all his cruelty—was pathetically weak for a little girl who has no idea of the power she has over him.

doflamingo's uncanny ability with kids sparked this. How does he do it... Yes, he'd be a girl dad. Fight me

sir crocodile drabble (proofread where??)

His ambition was a mistake. He had lost long before the Straw Hat thwarted his plans. A rare admission of defeat from Crocodile.

Here he was, on the cold cobblestone floor, chained like an animal. Had he been told that Eternal Hell—the deepest level of Impel Down—is where his ambition for Alabasta would have brought him, he would have laughed. Killed the person too, perhaps, for his ego would not tolerate such disrespect, but he would have laughed no less.

That is if he had not lost his true treasure before the fall. Though, he did. And he never bat a lash.

"Seventeen years of being your partner and this is what you reduce me to... So be it."

If only he hadn't been such a fool. If only he had stopped you from walking out the door.

"Goodbye, Crocodile."

Perhaps he wouldn't even be here in the first place had he simply looked your way.

Impel Down had given him time to think. Time to realise. Time to regret. It was only yesterday his daughter was born. Now, he can only see her in his memories and the few rare dreams he has of her.

Yet, even the dreams have no mercy to give. Her innocent calls for "Papa" unanswered while he turned his gaze never failed to wake him with a racing heart. It was only when the torment of those dreams began did he become familiar with the gnawing ache of guilt. He hated it.

He hated knowing that his daughter roamed an incomplete household, that any questions about Papa would be met with sugarcoated lies.

So, when Straw Hat breached Level Six and sought an ally in him, he accepted. He only accepted because he needed to return to his treasure. He needed to return to you and your child. He needed to let you know how wrong he was. He had to let his precious know how much his world revolved around her.

divorced but still in love has me in a chokehold. I couldn't resist.

Idk if you ever watched Modern Family but Jay Prichett’s love for his dog reminds me of the semi canon love Croc has for his animals. In my head in another universe Croc is 100% a dog dad who take his job seriously 🙂‍↔️

I have but only a few episodes and honestly, yes I can see it. Crocodile would not take kindly to his pets getting insulted. And he'd also be my worst enemy cuz I do NAWT like dogs 🥀🥀

I like that it's semi-canon that Crocodile is an animal lover. In OP Academy, he keeps a picture of his pet bananawani and apparently loves showing it off. It's Luffy insulting it that finally causes him to lose his cool and attack.

Imagine big scary canon Crocodile walking up to you, face sour and all. His hand reaches into his breastpocket. You think, "Oh no, he's gonna kill me!" Instead of a gun getting drawn, it's a photograph of a bananagator. And what does he say?

"Isn't it cute?"
