You're currently chewing on your lip nervously, pulling at the sensitive skin. Clark's question rings in your ears. How could such a simple question cause so much anxiety? It wasn't hard to answer how you'd like your drip coffee, but somehow, whenever it came to Clark, all words or sensibility were suddenly lost on you. 

"Here ya go," The culprit in the question's happy voice chimes in, distracting you from your nerves. He sets the mug next to your computer. You look up instantly, forcing a casual smile as you meet his sharp, kind eyes. Clark is smiling, and you suddenly feel dizzy.
