oh my god has anyone posted here yet about the spamton incident that just happened on the DUMB

okay so for context, the Deltarune Unofficial Message Board (or DUMB for short) has a fictional economy that runs on DARK DOLLARS, which can be earned through various means.

basically a user named spamtongspamton joined and started using the forum. spamton commented like a normal person, and seemed like a normal account. but very quickly people realized that they were losing large amounts of money in his presence. it turned out that even looking at any of spamton’s comments would result in you losing ONE BILLION DARK DOLLARS. spamton himself came to the dumb and stole everyone’s money. it wasn’t even transferred to his account it would just get deleted. spamton was quickly banned forever and killed for this exploit

okay i’m realizing that this sounds like a joke so i need to clarify that it’s not. this is something that actually happened on the deltarune unofficial messageboard. someone discovered an exploit involving the forum’s shop where you spend dark dollars, in which you could take the link to buy an item and embed that page into your comment, making it so anyone who saw your comment would buy that item. so they created an alt named after spamton, took the Billion Dollar Mystery Ball link and embedded it into spamton’s forum signature, making it so that anyone who saw his comment would buy a billion dollar item instantly
