My sister has improved a little, but her recovery is painfully slow. She is still in the hospital, fragile and exhausted, and the doctors say she must remain under close observation for an entire week so her condition does not worsen again. Every small improvement feels like a miracle, but the fear has not left us.😔

I shared before that we needed help to pay for her treatment and hospital expenses, but we did not raise nearly enough. Now, the hospital requires $110 every single day for her medication and daily hospital fees. She must stay 7 more days, which means we urgently need to raise $770 within one week. Each day that passes comes with anxiety , how will we pay for tomorrow? 😭💔

I am begging you from the bottom of my heart , please don't let her healing stop because of money. Watching my sister fight to get better while I worry about bills every day is breaking me. This is one of the comics I drew about Rawan’s life to draw attention to her campaign.

Support for Rawan and her family has been almost non existent this past week. I truly understand the fatigue, but they’re still in need of help. Her brother is still bedridden after a missile strike. Rawan herself has seen a doctor and was diagnosed with a bacterial skin infection and is getting treatment. She now wants to focus on her upcoming university exams.

Unfortunately, the doctor visits, painkillers, ointments and antibiotics are expensive, and due to a resurgence of Covid19 in Gaza, Rawan also wants to buy facemasks for her family.
