I can’t stand the “Mike wasn’t all that good in the games. He did Williams bidding at first!” Argument.

Ah yes. His bidding “go find your sister. You want to see her again, don’t you?” ???? What ????

And then spending every other game following after him/learning the extent of the MCI, haunted robots etc. Now a lot of this is extrapolated and not actual gameplay, but to that argument “his bidding” would also be extrapolated.

This isn’t even anti movie! Michael Afton as it’s a whole separate universe based on the books, games and also making stuff up for the movie universe. It’s just that the argument he was pro William in game is just… not really it.

my biggest peeve was michael afton, and how he was completely different from his game version and went against what his game version was trying to accomplish for like 5 games straight 😭😭. i dont know i just feel like its better not to make the movie character completely and utterly the opposite of its game version and slap their name on the character so that they are technically the same character. it just feels strange
