Val, watching him walk away: Weird. Who do you think he wants to find?

Velvette: Maybe an ex or his parents? I dunno.

Vox: **knocks on door**

Vox: Hello, do you have a son named Alastor who was a radio host and lived in Louisiana?

Alastor’s mother: Y-Yes?

Vox: Your son was mean to me. Make him say sorry and that he’ll be my friend.

Through painstaking research, I believe I have finally complied the thousands of the Vox/Alastor ship names and their various dynamics.

Alastor had a very straight-foward plan: coax Vox into a fight; 'lose'; strike a deal; be his captive for long enough to build him up; and then free himself all at once. It was perfect, flawless, genius. So as he called for his rival, he could even permit himself to feel excited.

He wasn't the only one.

it'd have been really fucking funny if the first time Vox and Alastor interacted in person they got interrupted by Alastor's shadow just LAUNCHING itself at Vox's shadow like an excited puppy, holding and kissing it, and then BOTH Vox and Alastor are like "Ignore that, by the way" as explanation

Riding on a chair can have consequences

I love how literally everything Vox does in s2 regarding Alastor makes him putting out a musical number as soon as the Radio Demon is back in town and subsequently crashing the whole city's power grid seem tame in comparison.

“You saw it, right? How I put that dick in his place?” Vox is brimming with electricity, glass of celebratory whiskey in his hand. Alastor can feel his hair standing on end. 

“Mmm. I admit I was almost impressed.”

“Almost?! Even the angels ran with their tails between their legs!” Vox shoves a hand against Alastor's chest. Exactly where he knows the wound is. “Don't see any angels running from you.”

Alastor pins his ears back but remains silent. 

Vox presses harder, grin feral. “You can call me your majesty any time.” 

Alastor leans into the pain and laughs. “A king is still just a man. Weren't you supposed to be divine?” 

Vox frowns, pulls his hand back. “You'll be on your knees praying soon enough.”
