Barb and Janey won’t be in the pods

(Or at least one of them won’t be)

While I’m a certified eater of my own words (we’re not gonna talk about the post where I said the betrayal wouldn’t happen) again I feel like it’s too convienent and too soon.

Think about it, Hank has every incentive to lie in this situation to protect Lucy. He probably knows on some level cooper has been searching for them everywhere and while Vegas is where their pods are, he gave no evidence or confirmation to Cooper that they were inside or alive.

Why would Barb still be frozen? As one of the elites of Vault Tec, wouldn’t she have been unfrozen by now. (I also have a ton of questions as to how Cooper got Janey to Barb since we saw the bombs drop while they were together, what did he do to not be frozen with his own daughter even if his wife hates him it seems extreme, why would Barb ok the bombs dropping if Janey wasn’t with her?) but yeah why is Hank MacLean unfrozen but his boss isn’t? I could understand if the elites aren’t unfrozen until the world has recovered from nuclear war, but civilizations are thriving, that’s why Hank is trying to take control, wouldn’t they have some kind of fail safe for that?

Idk I’ll concede that’s my weakest point

But my main point is I doubt on season 2 of a 5 season saga one of the main characters is not going to get an end to his main arch. Something is gonna go wrong with the pods, or Barb or Janey will be gone.

My biggest theory is Janey being gone if Barb is still frozen, and Cooper will unfreeze her to ask what the hell happened. I see Barb becoming a new antagonist in the wasteland, racing cooper to find Janey.
