Origin
On April 16th, 2017, Redditor krimson_king_666 uploaded a Facebook Messenger screenshot in which a man from Bangalore, India demands nude photographs before saying "bitch lasagna" (shown below).
Spread
On July 30th, 2017, Redditor MrMaikiu submitted a post asking "What does 'bitch lasagna' mean?" to /r/NoStupidQuestions.[2] On October 18th, Urban Dictionary[1] user Titty meat (shown below).
PewDiePie's T-Series Diss Track
On October 5th, 2018, YouTuber PewDiePie uploaded a music video for a diss track titled "Bitch Lasagna" as part of his ongoing subscriber battle with the Bollywood YouTube channel T-Series (shown below). Within two months, the video gained over 75 million views and 655,000 comments.
Sweet Anita
On October 19th, Twitch streamer Sweet Anita was discussing video games when she began saying various expletives, including "bitch lasagna." Over the next two months, a clip of the stream gained over 1.3 million views on Twitch, 192,000 views on YouTube and reached the top of /r/videos.
