"She had not thought of Jon in ages. He was only her half brother, but still... with Robb and Bran and Rickon dead, Jon Snow was the only brother that remained to her. I am a bastard too now, just like him. Oh, it would be so sweet, to see him once again"

"He thought of Robb, with snowflakes melting in his hair. Kill the boy and let the man be born. He thought of Bran, clambering up a tower wall, agile as a monkey. Of Rickon's breathless laughter. Of Sansa, brushing out Lady's coat and singing to herself. You know nothing, Jon Snow."

A pre parentage reveal Jonsa dance where you can sense the angst and tension but still not completely translated on page .

esther-dot answered:

“It’s wrong. Everything in me knows it. Why don’t you?”

“Someone has to unite the North if what you say is true. Rickon is too young, I am a woman married to a Lannister, I supported making you king because all I care about is making Winterfell the wolf’s den. He can’t help it.

“Prince Tommen sobbed. "You mew like a suckling babe," his brother hissed at him. "Princes aren't supposed to cry."

"Prince Aemon the Dragonknight cried the day Princess Naerys wed his brother Aegon," Sansa Stark said, "and the twins Ser Arryk and Ser Erryk died with tears on their cheeks after each had given the other a mortal wound." —ACOK Tyrion IX

Message of the books: It’s okay to cry in public if you’re upset sometimes, regardless of your title. Some of history’s best warriors cried, but that didn’t mean they were “weak” or incapable of greatness.

Message of the show: Crying in public is shameful and you should do your best to hide it for whatever reason, because people will make fun of you if they catch you doing it. If you do cry and you’re a prince, then you’re weak and not deserving the title. Lol Joffrey such a hypocrite crybaby
