Christmas Crossover!
From Theatre Bros, to Displaced Nexus. And the Waterpark to Hell… Merry Christmas and happy Holidays!
And I shall share a little story.

Comet traveled around the multiverse for the perfect venue for Christmas Day. But finally, she found the perfect spot for her Multiversal friends to hang out in for this joyous day. It needed some work though. A tree here. Some decorations there. And many stockings. It would have been a lot of she didn’t have Missy, her demon friend from their original universe, helping her. Sadly Star Sapphire couldn’t attend but that was due to her Celebrations in the Celestial afterlife.
With a lovely, fuzzy red rug placed on the floor and a fireplace roaring, everything was set for the guests. If only Comet remembered to tell them ahead of time.
“Guess I’ll do this the funky way!” Comet said as she whipped her magic staff out and dragged Missy along to collect their guests.
“You’re gonna do that odd guardian thing aren’t you?” Missy asked, already bracing herself for the turbulence of dimensional travel on Comets staff.
“Only way I think to enjoy their company and keep their stories intact. Buckle up your seatbelts! We’re going to the new Waterpark first!” Comet cheered as their travels began. Missy held onto Comet for dear life through the wrists and turns of the multiversal highways.
“Comet I don’t have seatbelts!” Missy screamed. Ahead was the exit into the Waterpark au, shimmering sparkly blue against the multicolour madness around them. Through the portal they went, and flying out of a ballpit they found themselves. They had entered through the dry. Soft play area of the waterpark.
“This is a new place. Who are we looking for here?” Missy asked as she shakily disembarked from Comets staff.
“We’re looking for Marina and River Shells. But not their sister Indigo sea. She’s not a nice Moon.” Comet informs Missy.
“A Sun and Eclipse I presume?” Missy looks around and realises just how big the Waterpark is. “I am not going by myself in here.”
“Yeah a Sun and Eclipse. Don’t blame ya. I got badly lost the first time I went here. Did have fun on the slides though. The diving was too scary for me. Maybe you can do that sometime?” Comet leads the way and Missy follows. Both their tails brushing up against some fallen coral decorations from above as they walked.
The Waterpark was vast, dark and looming and over the little Animatronic and Demon. Only a few overhead windows let the daylight in. Many slides and empty pools for various activities around every corner. Think of any Waterpark attraction and it was there! Gladly the diving pool was still operating, otherwise Comet would have explored how deep it goes, delaying the celebrations.
“You got any clue where this Marina and River Shells could be in this place? The darkness is creeping me out.” Missy spots some dull glow in the distance as she spoke.
“There! That’s where they are! That’s the disco!”
Comet yells as she runs towards the glowing lights. Missy flies to keep up with her and avoid all the rubble Comet climbs over. Soon two voices are heard.
“Where are all the green glow sticks?! I thought we had tons of them come in a few days ago.” Marina said as she sorted through a box of glow sticks and lights by the lazy river.
“I think Indigo stole them. She was lurking about the open areas yesterday….” River Shells opens a hat to the off limits areas to see Comet and Missy standing there. “Who’s this?”
She lets them in with a confused expression.
“Who’s who?” Marina says as she stands up on her mermaid tail and sees the two. “Oh! Comet, what brings you here?” She rushes over to give Comet a big hug. “Have you been well?”
“Hi Marina! I’m good. Just wanted to pick you and River Shells up.” Comet giggles as she returns the hug.
“Pick us up?” River Shells asks as she and Missy stare at each other.
“Why do you have four arms?” Missy asks.
“I was designed with them. Why do you have horns and wings?” River shells replies.
“I was born with them.” Missy flies to be at eye level with River shells. “They’re just like my ma and pa. Though my Renren says I got their young attitude.”
“You have three parents?”
“Me and my four siblings. Not all demons need two parents.”
“Oh this is the Missy you talked about Comet! Lovely to meet you!” Marina approaches Missy. Missy lands on the floor and holds out a hand for a shake. Marina almost crushes her with a hug. “It’s such a pleasure to meet you!”
Marina lets Missy go and Missy has to lean on Comet to catch her breath. “Are all of them going to be that strong?”
“She’s just excited to meet new people. You two wanna come to our celebration? It won’t take long there so don’t worry about time. Though you’re just the first on our guest list. We need to pick up a some more animatronics.”
Comet sits on her staff as it floats in the air like a chair.
“River Shells, would you like to go? I’ve been dying to have some more company.” Marina gives River Shells puppy eyes.
“It would be better than here. Shall I still bring the glow sticks?” River Shells picks up four boxes of glow sticks with her four arms.
“I’m sure the other guests would love them!” And with That, Comet opens a portal eoth her staff to the venue. “Make yourself at home, me and Missy will pick up our next guests while you settle.”
“Thank you Comet!”
“Ooh! Snacks!”
“Make sure not to destroy anything okay? River Shells, don’t eat all the snacks please. We’ll be back in a bit to check.” Comet says and she drags Missy through another portal.
“She’s an odd one Marina. How’d you meet?”
“Well, I can tell the story while she’s away. Whatcha think?”
“Sure. It’s that or these board games.”
Missy holds on for dear life to Comet as they travel again.
“Where are we going now?!” Missy screams over the wind rushing past them.
“Last Resort! This one’s gonna get funky though, hold on tight!” Comet yells back at the portal entrance comes into view. It shimmers a deep blood red.
Comet enters the dimension and lets Missy disembark. They find themselves within a castle like building with hallways that seem to span endlessly and staircases that end in impossible places.
“What… is this place? Is this Limbo?” Missy asks as she touches the off white and grey walls. Comet steps off her staff as holds it like a weapon.
“Probs our most dangerous spot. This one got discontinued due to a writer being unable to write for it anymore. But that doesn’t mean the residents can’t still have adventures. Right?”
Missy stares at Comet.
“What in the gods names are you talking about? Is this a guardian thing your Star likes to yap about?”
Annoyance was thick in Missy’s voice. Comet whispers into a wall.
“It’s context for you in the audience.”
“COMET! Why must you be so wierd?” Missy yells, catching the attention of someone nearby. Footsteps rush towards them.
“Please don’t be Stritchwraith. PLEASE DON’T BE STITCHWRAITH!” Comet says to herself as she points her staff towards the sound of the footsteps.
Around a corner, last resort (LR!) Ruin slides into view. He stares at Comet and Missy standing int he hallway.
“Oh thank god it’s Ruin!” Comet exhales in relief. “Hi there! How’s the cult?”
Missy gives Comet an odd look.
“Oh, you’re the one we saw in dreams aren’t you? Comet, was it? And Missy? How did you get here?” LR! Ruin slowly approaches the two.
“I can fill you in at the celebrations. I can’t keep you there forever but, I can take you and the others away from here for a bit. Dark Sun won’t be able to know. Not would he ever find out.” Comet gestures to her staff. “Do you know where Solar, Nexus and Eclipse are?”
“They’re likely in their rooms. And Solar, with his family.” LR! Ruin fidgets with his hands and keeps looking over his shoudlers. “Are you sure Dark Sun won’t know?”
“I promise on my Star.” Comet reaches out her hand to LR! Ruin. He hesitantly takes it and stares blankly for a moment before dramatically gasping.
“WHAT-? Huh?! How in my brain?!” LR!Ruin holds a hand to his head to steady himself after letting go of Comets hand.
“What you do Comet?” Missy asks.
“Gave him the spark notes of how this won’t affect his story.” Comet chuckles.
“Your Star is a person?! And Miss pink here is a demon?” LR! Ruin takes a deep breath in and out. “I’ll take you up on your offer… Comet. God knows we need it with all Dark Sun has put us through.”
The two follow Ruin down several halls that twist and turn beyond logical reality. Stairs that seem to ascend and decent forever. And an odd Garden that stinks of Dark star power. They eventually find Eclipses room past a grand eating hall.
Ruin stops by the door and gently knocks on it.
“Eclipse? May I have your presence for a moment?”
The sound of stuff falling to the floor is heard before a dishevelled animatronic opens the door.
“What do you want- Ruin? What are you… who’s that?” Eclipse points to Comet and Missy with his sun arm, keeping his two Eclipse arms and his one moon arm close to himself. “Wait… that’s the animatronic we’ve been seeing in our dreams! How are you real? Are you another person Dark Sun kidnapped? What do you want?”
“Hi, I’m Comet. I’m here to take you, him, Nexus and Solar from this dimension to another. For a break from your stories.” Comet explained simply as to not overwhelm Eclipse. “Missy here is company I brought with me to help. I can’t take you forever but I want you to celebrate the holidays.”
“Why me? Why us?! And why should I believe you?” Eclipse starts to close the door. Comet jams her foot in the door.
“Jack can come too. He’ll be safe. He can charge there without notifying Dark Sun. Please, you need a real from this.”
“How do you know of Jack?!”
“Well, I got to know my things as a dimensional traveler. Also i know the writer of your story.” Comet spear through yhat second part so that they didn’t hear.
“Eclipse, she showed me her past. Sure, what she showed me was unbelieve-able but I believe her. She genuinely wants to give us a break.”
“You just trust her cause she’s British like you.” Eclipse says bluntly.
“She knows about our sleepover.” Ruin replies just as bluntly. Eclipses face goes red with embarrassment.
“You know everything? That’s horrifying! And you’re just a little animatronic less than half my size!”
“Yep! Be glad I can’t impact your story more :3.”
Comet smiles.
“Stop doing that Comet. You’re spooking him… and me.” Missy nudges Comet.
Eclipse retreats into his room and soon emerges with a power savings mode Jack in his arms.
“Let’s get Nexus quickly and go.” Eclipse rushes towards Nexus’ room, having the others struggle to keep up.
“Comet, what’s that sleepover stuff about?” Missy asks as they rush behind Eclipse and Ruin.
“Ruin and Eclipse bonded over their horrible situation in an impromptu sleepover. Don’t worry, Nexus will be easier.” Comet pats Missys shoulder.
They reach Nexus’ room and the dude only needed to see Eclipse holding Jack out in the open to be on board with whatever they were doing. Eclipse wouldn’t bring Jack out if it wasn’t safe to do so.
“So uh. Why were you in our dreams little star girl?” Nexus asks as Comet opens a portal to where Solar was.
“One of my gaurdian friends taught me how and I had to prep some of my guests for this ahead of time. Now jump in.” Comet pushes Ruin into the portal, then Missy. Nexus follows Eclipse and Jack through. Comet goes through last to close the portal behind her.
They find Solar in the island house eating Some cereal while standing with his cane in the kitchen. He almost knocks the bowl off the table as the now six of them enter from a portal in the ceiling. Eclipse lands on top of Ruin as Missy flies out. Nexus zaps through the lights and appears in front of Solar. The two embrace.
“Nexus?! How are you- why are you all here? Am I dreaming? Why is that thing from my dream here too?” Solar stammers as he tries to wrap his head around what was going on. His code fails to load and he collapses into Nexus’ arms.
“Oh Solar, we really need to fix you…don’t we?” Nexus tries to pull out a chair for Solar to sit on but his hand goes straight through it. He mumbles to himself. “Oh you’re physical code now! You can still touch everything! Load of rubbish.” Nexus manages to pick up Solars cane instead.
Solar boots back up and adjusts his Moon hat.
“Wha..? Oh…It happened again didn’t it?” Solar covers his face in embarrassment. “It’s okay. Comet here wants to celebrate something with us. You wanna hang out for a bit?” Nexus helps Solar to stand.
“Yeah sure. Been a while since we last met hasn’t it? Sounds like a good way to catch up.” Solar glances at Eclipse before having a double take. “JACK?! You had Jack? Why! And for how long?” Solar rushes over with his cane to take a sleeping Jack from Eclipses arms. Eclipses hand shoots to his mouth before he could explain.
“They can’t talk about that. Story won’t allow it.” Comet states.
“Story? What are you on about? Comet, was it?” Solar holds Jack protectively.
“He went there, with them and got stuck is all I can say without spoiling it.” Comet waves her hands and shakes her head. Ruin stares intensely with understanding.
“Anyho, wanna see where the party’s happening? I already have two guests there for you to meet!” Comet cheers as she opens a portal underneith the group. “Oh. That hasn’t happened in a while.”
They all fall through the portal and into the venue space. Comet lands flat on her face first. Followed by all of the last resort crew on top of her in a pile of animatronics. Missy flies in and effortlessly lands on her feet. They spooked Marina and River Shells who were playing uno by themselves.
“I thought your portals didn’t do that anymore Comet.” Missy said as she sat down beside Marina.
“Who are these animatronics? Is that another Eclipse model?!” River Shells quickly stands up and helps LR! Eclipse to his feet. LR! Eclipse yanks his arms away.
“What are you- huh… you’re an Eclipse with four arms…like me.” LR! Eclipse pokes River Shells on one of her arms. “Solar, come look at this! She’s part fish!”
“One moment! Where’s a charger?” Solar asks as he looks about the venue.
Comet points next to the tree and Solar thanks her. He plugs Jack in and sits by his son’s side and waits for him to be charged. Nexus sits next to him and the two chat.
Ruin approaches Marina, who’s still in her mermaid form.
“Fascinating… one doesn’t see an animatronic like you very often. Nor one like your sister I presume she is.” Ruin points to River Shells who’s having a very animated conversation with Eclipse.
Missy stands up and walks back to Comets side.
“How many do we have left to get?”
“Uh, some from Theatre Bros and one from another place and that’ll be it. Shall we get them? Or do you wanna play host to our guests?” Comet gives Missy an offer.
Missy sighs. “I’ll go with you. They seem to be entertaining themselves without my input.”
“Wonderful! Let’s go to Theatre bros!” Comet opens a portal to the Theatre bros dimension. “Welcome to a favourite of mine- oh no.” Comet cuts her own grand entrance off when she realises she took a wrong turn.
“This place is worse than the waterpark!” Missy complains after entering the orange portal. “At least you didn’t have to use that multiversal highway again. I would have thrown up.”
“We’re in the wrong part of this universe.” Comet stumbles upon a small terrarium with a teeny tiny animatronic in it with bug like features. “Oh hi there Bug! Sorry to bother you but, I’m trying to find Solar. Do you know where Sturgeon hid the dimensional coordinates?” The little animatronic squeals and points to the paper next to him. “Thank you Bug. Since I’m here, wanna join me and my friend to a party?” Bug wags his little tail about with excitement. “Okay, but you gotta stay hidden for me. Can’t let your story play out too soon. Your act isn’t done yet.” Comet scoops up the little animatronic and tucks him under her hat. “Can you see alright up there?”
An affirming squeak is heard before they carry on their journey. Using the paper, Comet summons a portal to the correct corner of the Theatre bros universe.
“Who’s the little guy?” Missy asks.
“That’s spoilers Missy. If our guests weren’t allowed to remember this crossover, I’d be more willing to tell you. But they will remember some of it. I can’t risk their stories getting ruined because of me. How would you like it if I told you how your story went? Destiny would be pissed off with me more than she already is.”
The now three walk through the portal to a large theatre stage.
“Now this is more like it! Hello Theatre bros! “ Comet announces to the empty theatre.
“So uh, are we picking up actors or..?” Missy flies off of the stage and into the audience seating. Comet struggles to get down after her.
“Triplets, a red guy and an orange guy.” Comet stumbles but Missy catches her by her Start tail. “Thanks Missy.”
“You seriously can’t be this clumsy.”
“You underestimate my power demon!” Comet jokes. Missy lets go of her tail, letting Comet fall on her face for that.
“I deserved that.” Comet picks herself up and the two head for the Theatre exit. “Now, they’re either in Solar’s lab down there,” she points to a staircase going down to their right. “The daycare ahead and then down those stairs,” she points ahead and past the popcorn and ticket booths. “Or they’re hanging out in one of the party rooms.”
“Daycare?” Missy questions.
“Daycare it is!” Comet drags Missy towards the daycare.
“Comet no that’s not what I- great gods what am I going to do with you?” Missy trudges behind Comet as they make their way to the daycare entrance where some voices are heard.
“All I’m saying is: if you let me do the gingerbread, the others wouldn’t be cleaning up the kitchen right now!”
“I was improving them! You said to use some Christmas magic!”
“I didn’t mean it literally Eclipse! I had to buy some new ones so that Newt could experience them.”
“These things are good. Bloodmoon, try one!” Newt excitedly said.
“Are they poisoned?”
“No silly! See I’ve eaten them. They’re fine! Jack, you want one too?”
A whoosh and then fast eating can be heard.
“I’ll take that as a yes!” Newt giggles.
“Fine! I’ll try one of these… gingerbread humans.”
Before Bloodmoon could take a bite, Comet opens the door to the daycare.
“Sorry, we’re closed today… cool cosplay you got there.” Solar approached the door but stoped as he got a better look at Missy and Comet.
“What’s Cosplay?” Missy asked, arms crossed and tail flicking in annoyance.
“Is Newt here? I wanna invite him and you lot to my party!” Comet bounces with excitement as she tried to look around Solar and into the daycare. She locks eyes with Newt.
“Oh my goodness Comet!” Newt stands up from beside Bloodmoon and rushes to great Comet with a hug. “Did you bring the hot chocolate? Please say you did!” Newt excitedly bounces beside Solar.
“You know these people?” Solar asks.
Missy stares up at the animatronics basically double her and Comets size.
“Comet, what is you deal with people taller than you?” Whispers to Comet.
“Idk, it’s funny to see how many shenanigans we can get into.” Comet whispers back. “Newt! Been a while, I did get the hot chocolate but it’s at my place.”
“I’m finally seeing your place?! Ahhh!” Newt squeeze with joy.
“Not exactly but it’s the closest we’re getting for now. Is that okay?”
“What is going on? When did you two meet Newt?” Eclipse had walked over to the door.
“She’s the star girl I said I meet a while ago. Duh!”
“Legit thought you ment a Star Orphan, Newt.” Solar responds.
Comet chuckles. “Wow, you two are BLIND if you didn’t see me before. I literally drank hot chocolate while you were working on your tech in front of us.”
“Could have sworn it was one of those star orphans!” Eclipse raised his hand to his head, trying to remember that day. “I don’t remember you being there Comet.”
“Well, I could info dump how my magic covers up my tracks but I’ve already Traumatised a British dude with that today. I don’t wanna do that to you guys.” Comet throws her staff from one of her hand to the other. “You wanna attend my party or not? I have guests waiting still.”
Bloodmoon and Jack were having their own conversation about the gingerbread men before catching sight of Comet. The two run towards and push Solar out of the way to tackle Comet.
“WAOH! Heyo! How’s it going?” Comet said as her eyes spin around her visor before returning to normal.
“Finally caught you! I win!” Bloodmoon cheers.
“No I win!” Jack interjects.
“Ah! You got me! Guess you both win!” Comet giggles as they help her back to her feet.
Solar picks Comet up by her back loop and gets a closer look. “How do you know us?” He asks. Comet drops her staff.
“Dimensional traveler to put it simply. You can’t remember crossovers when I’m not there. Not very clearly at least. Unless it won’t impact your story.” Comet says as she dangles. “They remember encounters we had because it wouldn’t impact your future.”
Eclipse takes Comet from Solars grasp. “Let me handle this.” Eclipse summons some magic in his hand and places it next to Comets head. Comets eyes go wide.
“Hey-HEY! No need for that! You don’t want to do that!” Comet pleads.
“Why shouldn’t I have a look in your head?” Eclipses eyes narrow.
“You’d be overwhelmed. And honestly, you’ve looked into too many heads already.”
Eclipse places his hand on Comets head, his eyes glowing as he does so. Missy picks Comets staff up and threateningly points it at Eclipse. A small squeak is heard from Comets hat.
“Eclipse, she’s really no harm-“
“Not now Newt, I’m focusing.” Eclipses eyes widen.
“Put the guardian down Eclipse. Or we’ll see if her magic can be used by a demon like me.”
Eclipses eyes return to normal with a dramatic gasp. He stares into Comets eyes.
“You…really don’t mean us harm…” He places Comet down on the floor slowly and carefully.
“I’ve been trying to say that! But no! Eclipse had to look into my head himself to belive it.”
Missy lowers the staff and return it to Comet. Comet decides to perch at the top of her staff like a bird to be eye to eye with Eclipse.
“Now, you wanna join the celebrations?” She asked.
“Might as well… who else is there?” Eclipse crosses his arms. Solar stands confused and Newt gets very excited again, talking to Bloodmoon and Jack about what he thinks will happen.
“Two mermaids, five from a dimension where everything seems to go wrong, you guys and I’m planning on one more guest. Oh! And Missy here. There’s snacks and games and don’t worry about gifts! I got that sorted :3”
“How did you just say :3 out loud?” Missy asks but is too quiet to be heard over Newt, Bloodmoon and Jacks excitement.
Solar holds a hand out to Eclipse for comfort.
“We can leave anytime right?” Solar asks Comet.
“Yep! You don’t have to stay long. Now how are you guys with dimensional travel?” Comet asks as she opens a portal above all of them. The portal sucks them up into it and to the venue.
Newt and Comet giggle as they fly through the multiversal highway. Solar and Eclipse scream like they’re on a rollercoaster they were forced to get onto. They hold each other’s hands close to not loose each other in the way. Bloodmoon and Jack roll through the highway as if they tripped down a hill. Missy glides through the air with her arms crossed and an unamused expression on her face.
A portal opens on the floor of the venue, and the group pop up into the air before the portal closes and they land on the solid ground. Newt and Comet cheer at their successful landing. TB! Solar and TB! Eclipse land in a mess of themselves and pillows. Bloodmoon and TB! Jack roll away from the group and directly into LR! Solar and his Jack charging. Missy lands graciously by the snack table and eats a few snacks.
“Welcome Theatre bros!” Comet says to announce their arrival.
TB! Solar is helped up by Newt and walk over to talk to the other Solar. LR! Solar and the now three smaller animatronics sat with him. LR! Nexus comes back from charging within the Christmas lights to see the now two Jacks and one Bloodmoon sat with his Solar.
“Adopted some more kids while I was napping huh?” LR! Nexus chuckles as he helped TB! Jack and Bloodmoon to their feet. Bloodmoon tries to bite LR! Nexus. “Ooh! This one’s a bit grumpy. Too bad you can’t hurt me eh?” Bloodmoon tries to bite his fingers again but his teeth phase right through LR! Nexus. LR! Nexus chuckles as he decides to mess with Bloodmoon.
LR! Eclipse and River Shells make eye contact with TB! Eclipse. And it was on sight. Ruin and Marina stare as they watch the fight ensue. Like feral cats, the three Eclispes engaged in a cartoonish fight. River Shells tries to bite TB! Eclipse as he shoots various magic spells about in response. LR! Eclipse tag teams with a River Shells on TB! Eclipse.
Missy finsihed her snack before dragging River shells and LR! Eclipse by the rays away from TB! Eclipse. TB! Solar helps his brother to his feet
“That’s not how you treat fellow guests at Comets party, now is it?” Missy drags the two away and into the kitchen. A few moments later, they return, heads down.
“Sorry Eclipse.” They both say.
“And what do you do now?” Missy asks already knowing the answer. The two walk up to TB! Eclipse.
“How can we make it up to you?” River Shells says as she averts eye contact. LR! Eclipse nods along. TB! Eclipse pats them both on she shoulder after dusting his clothes off.
“I’ve been needing some magic assistants. Would you care to help me with some baking experiments?”
The two quickly agrees and the three Eclipses take over the kitchen.
“There’s another guest to get right?” Missy asks to a stunned Comet.
“I I- yeah? Are you wanting to get them?”
“Just to get it over and done with.” Missy replies.
Comet opens a portal to their final destination.
“Please don’t burn this place down while I’m away!” She says as she and Missy leave.
The last highway through the multiverse was eerily calm and quiet. Only the sound of air blowing past could be heard as they flew on Comets staff.
“Who are we getting?” Missy asks to break the silence.
“A displaced anomaly. But I like to call him DNA for short. He’s a Nexus.” The two enter a portal that shimmered a deep purple and magenta.
On the other side was a log cabin surrounded by snow. Missy held her hand up in the air and see the snow falling was stationary in the air.
“What’s up with this snow? Isn’t it supposed to fall?”
Comet stares at the log cabin for a moment.
“We arrived in the middle of his story… we have to be quick!” Comet says as she sprints towards the log cabin. Her feet not leaving any trace in the fallen snow. Missy flies behind her.
“Middle of his story? What are you talking about?! Is this some guardian nonsense of yours again?” Missy stands in front of Comet, blocking her way.
“Yes! Gotta get there before he gets too scared and throws his story out of whack!” Comet climbs into Missy and jumps off of her shoulders.
“Comet, give me a straight answer for ONCE!” She grabs Comet by her tail.
“Our presence made Time unstable. The longer we’re here, the more likely it will break. It could kill his universe! Imagine if your parents never met cause someone else got ran over that day? You wouldn’t have been born.” Comet pleads as she desperately tries to get to the log cabin. Through the window, many animatronics can be seen frozen in time. All but one.
Missy sees one animatronic napping on a sofa. His chest rises and falls to imitate breathing. Wings covered in jumper fabric wrapped around himself like a blanket. But what got Missys attention most was the tail that flickered slightly as the animatronic slept. It was black and purple with the tiniest bit of magenta peaking out of a glove made for the cloven end of it.
“He’s… a demon… like me?” Missy let’s go of Comets tail, causing her to fly into the front door. The loud crash startling the animatronic awake. Comet rubs her dore head.
“Ow… kinda? He’s new on my multiversal map. Though he’d be nice for you to chat with. Wanted it to be a surprise for you... Also I’m curious to chat with him as well!” Comet picks herself up and dusts herself off. She leans on the door as it opens inwards.
“Hello? Oh god. You alright?” DNA helped Comet bqck to her feet. “Who are you? What are you doing here?”
“We’re here to take you on a magical adventure!” Comet waves her staff about like in a performance.
DNA looks at Missy and the snow frozen in mid air.
“Uhhh, what’s going on?”
“Magical adventure. Guests are waiting for you to join the festivities.” Missy said while curiously looking at DNAs wings. DNA folds his wings tighter behind his back. Missy makes a small show of showing off her own wings and tail.
“If it makes you feel better, you’re not gonna be the only odd one there. Comet here decided to invite several different Eclipses into the same venue and expected them to be all dandy.” Missy takes DNAs hand. “I’m sure you’ll make friends with someone there.”
A small squeak is heard from under Comets hat. Comet panicked, takes her hat off to show Bug was still in there.
“Oh Bug! I forgot you were In there! What was that?” Comet asks. Bug squeaks and chirps in response. “Why that sounds lovely!” Comet lets Bug hop from her hands to DNAs arm. “He wants you to know it’ll be okay. He can be your buddy if you’re scared.”
DNA pets Bug on his little head with his finger.
“Are all of them as little as you?” DNA asks.
Bug shakes his head and makes an exaggerated gesture to indicate everyone else is very tall.
“They’re tall are they? Well good thing I have wings then right?” The two giggle as Comet opens a portal to the venue.
“Alright, everyone hold hands. Don’t want to loose our guest now do we?” Missy takes Comets outstretched hand looks back at DNA, who’s putting Bug in his jumper collar before he grips Missys hand tightly.
The four of them have a very uneventful ride back to the venue. They walk through the front door to Ruin and Marina guardian the kitchen while LR! Solar, LR! Jack, TB! Jack and Bloodmoon play a game of Monopoly on the red rug in the middle of the main room.
“Welcome The displaced Nexus anomaly! DNA for short.” Comet announces. Bug climbs up DNAs head and hides in his hat.
“Hey Comet! You got another Nexus? Cool… Wanna play uno with us after this game?” LR! Solar offers as Bloodmoon rages at landing on yet another property already owned. Both Jacks laughing at Bloodmoons misfortune in the game as Bloodmoon throws rent money to LR! Jack.
The lights flicker. Comet taps the light switch twice. LR! Nexus comes out of the lights above in a flash.
“Who’s this?” He asks, pointing to DNA.
“I’m Nexus. But you can call me DNA. I don’t quite understand why Comet nicknamed me that.” DNA responds.
“Comet does alot do weird things. But you two seem cool. What’s your deals?” Missy leads the two Nexus’ into the main room where they chat about their backstories.
Comet lets out a sigh of relief as she had achieved what she wanted to do. Bring all that aus together for a wonderful celebration.
“Wait, where’s Newt and Theatre bros Solar?” As if summoned by Comets words, the two jump out form hiding with hot chocolate in hand.
“Surprise! Newt mentioned you liked hot chocolate so we managed to make some!” TB! Solar hands Comet a mug of hot chocolate.
“Yeah! It only took one gingerbread army coming alive and three barrels of eggnog to bribe the other Eclipses for us to use the kitchen, but it was worth it!” Newt motioned to offer Comet some whipped cream on her hot chocolate, which she happily accepted. She laughs and thanks the two greatly.
The day soon turned into night. Marina got her legs back just in time for the dancing and musical games. In which she stubbornly won most of.
The three Eclipses emerged from the kitchen with the most grand gingerbread house with edible delights galore delicately put on with sparkling icing.
LR! Jack won the Monopoly game and cuddled against his dads as the fireplace roared. Ruin and Comet shared hot drinks and spilt some tea on their fellow guests. Newt, TB! Solar, DNA and Missy discussed the worlds they’ve visited and what they’ve experienced as they munched on sweets. Watching TB! Jack and Bloodmoon roast marshmellow in the fireplace.
The night went by in a flash and it was soon time for everyone to go home.
Marina and River Shells had given everyone shell keyrings. The Theatre bros gave everyone a some formerly sentient gingerbread people to eat later. As well as shortbread for Comet and Missy. Last resort crew gave everyone various escape tools and vouchers for escape rooms. Everyone was very concerned for them. And finally, DNA gave out glow in the dark stars and planets for everyone to put up as decorations.
“How did they get gifts?” Missys whispered to Comet.
“Christmas crossover magic :3.” Comet jokingly makes that face. “But seriously. I think they found the stash of gifts I left for them in the kitchen…” which means,” Comet looks into her pocket. “Ah! Here it is!” She pulls out a small device and gives it to Missy.
“What is this?”
“A dimensional tele-porter! So you can log and explore the multiverse on your own terms!” Comet barely holds back her excitement.
Missy attaches the small device to her hairband, hiding it slightly within her pink hair.
“I think I’ll hang about for a bit before using this though short staff.” Missy pats Comets head.
The mermaids Marina and River Shells went first, promising to hold a disco for everyone in the new year. Before they returned to their Waterpark.
The Theatre Bros went next and offer to entertain them with movie night or even a recording of Eclipses production of ‘Alice in wonderland’ when it finally gets done. Bug comes out of his hiding place when their portal closes.
DNA giggles as Bug falls out from under his hat and into his hands.
“You should get back to your family Nexus.” Comet said as she took Bug from DNA.
“Yeah, they’re probably worried about me right now. I look forward to seeing you again though! perhaps new years or so?” DNA takes one last snack for the road.
“Most likely the new year Nexus. InLook forward to seeing you again as well. Goodbye!” Comet, Missy and Bug wave goodbye to DNA. The portal closes behind him.
“What about the Last Resort crew?” Missy asks.
Solar, Nexus and Jack were sleeping soundly by the fireplace. Ruin had given them a blanket and pillows before setting up some for himself and Eclipse.
“They have been through enough. They deserve a break after everything.” Comet summons some more blankets and pillows as well as soft plushies using her staff to add to the piles around them. “I just wish I could have found their Sun.” Comet leans against Missy. Missy pulls her into a side hug.
“You did the best you can for them. Let that be enough…. Also does that apply to Bug as well?”
Bug squeaks.
“No. He’s staying till he’s needed in his story.” Comet tickles Bug.
They all spent the Night staring into the fire as soft music played.
It was a Christmas Crossover Comet won’t ever forget.
