i know this blog doesn't have that much reach, but i want to inform those that may not be aware that, in light of yunho's new mcdonald's ad, that mcdonald's is actually on the bds boycott list due to the genocide in palestine. so if you could avoid promoting it + make yunho & sm aware of your disappointment (politely! we don't get anything done with hate) & do the best you can not to support mcdonald's & other companies & products on the bds list, i'd really appreciate it.

i know we all love yunho & this is not meant to be a form of hate for him, but this is also a big moral issue & supporting or driving support to mcdonald's actively harms the palestinian ppl in gaza.

This image isn't just a fleeting news item; it's part of our daily reality in Gaza. While thousands of trucks loaded with tents, blankets, food, and medicine are held outside the Strip, prevented from entering by the Israeli occupation, we face a humanitarian catastrophe that worsens day by day. We die here every moment. We suffer constantly, and everyone ignores what we're going through.

I have appealed to you again and again and begged you to help my mother receive treatment, but many of you continue to ignore this.

Homeless single mom of 2 needs help in Gaza

Maha and her family previously had a verified GFM to pay for basic necessities like food, medical care, and some form of shelter. Horrifically, the person running their former GFM has stolen from them and hijacked their campaign.

Below is Maha’s new GFM. Her previous GFM was vetted by el-shab-hussein and nabulsi on their vetted campaign master list, on line 163.

Somehow, it gets worse

Maha’s 8-year-old daughter Joan, who we’ve explained has a history of gastric health problems, has fallen seriously ill with the viral gastroenteritis that is going around Gaza. She is severely dehydrated and needs to be on IV for fluids and to receive medicine.

Her treatment has accumulated €1000 EUR in costs, and the extension of her treatment for another week means Maha will owe an additional €1000 EUR. Maha’s husband is stranded in Egypt after accompanying his father for medical treatment. His expenses prevent him from being any help to his wife and children. You are their only hope.

We will start with the first €1000 EUR sum, the amount already owed to the hospital. We need to raise this URGENTLY, as the hospital will terminate Joan’s treatment if the outstanding balance is not paid soon.

Strong winds and severe weather have torn apart and blown away many displacement tents across different areas of the Gaza Strip. Partially destroyed homes, already weakened by previous bombardment, have collapsed under the force of the storm. This suffering returns with every storm, and life grows harsher for families in Gaza under this bitter cold.

Two more infants have died in Gaza today due to the extreme cold weather, bringing the total to 6 children who died due to hypothermia since November.

This is not arbitrary. This cold is not a natural disaster. These deaths, each one of them, were deliberate and calculated by Israel.

For three days I've been battling this illness alone. A severe case of the flu has exhausted me; my weak body can't take it anymore. The cough won't subside, and my fever worsens day by day. I haven't slept a wink, not only because of the illness, but also because my bed is completely soaked with rainwater. I sleep on the cold floor, wet, shivering, and in pain.
