my parenrs love to cook my dad also worships at the altar of chatgpt i called them once to ask how to make something less spicy after looking it up on reddit which said ‘lime or lemon juice cream/milk or salt i call them up they confer for a minute before my mom goes ‘you know what? did you hear your dad? try lemon juice milk or salt and i was like. did he ask chatgpt and my mom was like yeah and i was like i know ebcause chagpt got it from reddit and thats where i got it from before asking you guys why do boomers think chatgpt is a reliable resource when they dont know how it works
