about

hi i’m bee (she/they), i’m over 30 and have loved leliana/leliwarden for over half my life and won’t stop now. currently you can find mostly dragon age, women, and femslash being shared here.

and as for my opinion on veilguard:

"The worst thing a franchise ending can do is make you feel kind of stupid and embarrassed for being so excited about it in the first place." - Jenny NicholsonALT

…i was not a fan. i write/reblog critical posts from time to time and you can blacklist the tags “veilguard/datv/bioware/dragon age critical” to avoid seeing them if you want to follow me.

otherwise welcome and feel free to like/reblog spam!

tbh i don’t think it’s necessarily a wrong or bad writing choice to of made the dalish elves and city elves be at odds, because you can get where both are coming from in terms of how isolated they are from each other overall. then you can not only write exceptions or variations because there are dozens of clans and alienages as well as thousands of elves with differing opinions + thoughts + feelings etc, but also make it an end point to have a more understanding as far as development and arcs go. you could even have some diaspora-related themes.

but this is ultimately a pointless thought exercise bc post-dao the writers were never interested in portraying the city elves and their culture as anything but background noise at best, constant suffering and victimhood at worst, so noting really changes or gets better between the two. or even. like. shown lol.

this is my least favorite misogynist talking point in the fandom playbook because essentially everyone who complains about the lack of f/f Is Already writing or drawing it themselves if they are a person who enjoys writing or drawing. and if you're not a person who enjoys writing or drawing i don't think you are obligated to become one in order for your complaints about extremely blatant misogynistic trends in both original media and fan works to not count as "whining"

ohhh you think the women getting upset about misogyny are whiny? wow that's a new one that's revolutionary you're saying something so controversial and brave

This post was long overdue. So this was the post I was gonna to send this past July but when Kpop Demon Hunters came out it was swept under the rug but this is still important too. So I was looking for something to watch and saw this cartoon call Jem, an 80s cartoon show of Jerrica aka Jem the lead singer of Jem and the Hologram battle on the music charts against their rival the female band the Misfits which I WILL draw after I finish up stuff for December.

From top to bottom: Jerrica/Jem, Kimber, Aja, Raya, and Shana
