If y'all are thinking "oh no now they're going to come for us, too" right now, well, guess what? We told you so!

Don't say we didn't warn you. You've known as much as we have this whole time that this would happen sooner or later, but you were too busy with your "us versus them" bullcrap to really listen and think about things. And y'all let this happen, because you refuse to stop marrying, birthing, raising, and voting for your own oppressors and start giving a damn about people who aren't you.

Do you wash your bed pillows? (NOT just the pillowcase, the pillow itself)

Yes, I wash the pillows themselves

No, I only wash my pillowcases

No, I don't wash my pillows or the pillowcases

I don't sleep with pillows

Other

Anon's parents never washed pillows when anon was growing up, only pillowcases. Anon didn't even realize pillows could be washed until they were an adult and a friend told them their pillow was gross and they should wash it. They wash their pillows now, but want to know how common it is to only wash the pillowcase– it seems weird/gross to them now.

pillows are hard to wash I've washed one pillow ever that i had like. thrown up on and the stuffing got so twisted up that i had to cut it out of the fabric and sew it into an old pillowcase iirc feather pillows can lose feathers if washed and some pillows are just too dense to dry without molding pillowcases should usually be enough in my experience. especially since pillows do have a lifespan before they start degrading anyway but if you Need to wash them you can like. use a couple of tacking stitches to keep the stuffing in place or use a delicate item bag to help with feather pillows idk what to do with the ones that are too thick but
