Installing the command-line executable

Assuming you have Rust/Cargo installed, run this command in a terminal:

cargo install favico

It will make the favico command available in your PATH if you've allowed the PATH to be modified when installing Rust. cargo uninstall favico uninstalls.

Usage

Basic usage

favico input.png

The following files will be generated in the current directory:

Generate shell completion

--generate-completion option generates shell completions to standard output.

The following shells are supported:

bash
elvish
fish
nushell
powershell
zsh

Example:

favico --generate-completion bash > favico.bash
