welcome to my weirdgirl weirdblog. im amy, they/she, a neurog nb crustacean enjoyer.

some facts about me:

  • i like shrimp a LOT and i keep some in a tropical freshwater tank. my son is a giant fan shrimp called breathmint.
  • i enioy art!!! i am an illustrator by trade. right now im very into comics, and i'm working on a graphic novel called 'my shrimp is a wizard'. you can read the pilot on my website, www.amybugs.com :P
  • in my spare time i loveeee rockpooling. i moved to a coastal city to be nearer to wet beasts. yayyy
  • i'm a plushie-pilled autist; i make my own shrimp plushies bc frankly i think there's not enough that exist, or enough that are anatomically correct to my liking, or sensory to suit my needs.
  • i have multiple handmade plushies of breathmint because i want to hug him so much, and i know the real breathmint wouldn't appreciate that haha.
  • feel free to chat to me about crustaceans bc theyre the coolest beasts everrrr
