As HMS moves into maintenance mode, SystemActive, our preferred UK reseller, is helping enterprise XR teams transition their fleets to ArborXR smoothly and securely. If you're ready for the next step, our team can connect you with the right partner to support your XR program.
I wouldn’t rely on an essentially unsupported, maintenance-mode platform to manage my devices… why would you? If your #VR fleet is still on #MHMS, it’s time to think about the risks: outdated software, security vulnerabilities, limited support, and stalled innovation. Managing your devices shouldn’t feel like a gamble. Migrating your VR devices to ArborXR isn’t just a smart move- it’s a future-proof one. By combining your entire fleet into a single, modern platform, you get: -Streamlined device management -Enterprise-grade security -Faster updates and feature access -A single source of truth for your VR content and analytics We’re proud to be ArborXR’s preferred reseller in the #UK, helping organisations transition smoothly and securely from HMS to a platform that actually keeps pace with your VR ambitions. Don’t let your fleet fall behind, let’s get your devices onto ArborXR safely and efficiently. For a free demo, consultations and/ quotations and procurement, get in touch. toriah.teague@systemactive.com #VR #DeviceManagement #ArborXR #EnterpriseVR #DigitalTransformation #UKVR SystemActive

𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀: 𝗦𝗮𝘆 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗯𝘆𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀! With 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗦 𝘃𝟴𝟱, shared mode sessions are now indefinite. Users stay logged in indefinitely unless they manually end their session. • 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴: No more "Continue or End Session" dialogs after headset idles or power cycles. It’s a smoother, uninterrupted experience. • 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱: 𝗡𝗼𝗻𝗲. This behavior kicks in automatically as soon as headsets update to v85—no configuration changes needed in ArborXR.

We’re excited to welcome Devin Marble to ArborXR as our Enterprise Growth Lead, joining Miles Beckstead's fantastic team! In 2017, Devin was trying to solve a problem most people ignored: how do you train paramedics better without pulling them off the road longer? His answer was VR. He helped start the program from scratch in Southern Arizona. Then he worked with Nightingale College to scale VR to thousands of nursing students. Then he built the partner ecosystem around VRpatients, connecting enterprises, distributors, VARs, OEMs, and internal stakeholders who all had competing priorities. He’s been an operator building XR programs for almost a decade — and a voice for the industry, sharing what actually works on stage and across the XR community. Along the way, he learned something: technology isn’t what keeps programs from growing. Infrastructure is. Connecting systems. Training people. Measuring what’s working. Educating stakeholders. The human stuff that slows adoption of any new technology. Devin has spent a decade figuring out how to close that gap. Now his job is to help XR teams do the hardest thing in this industry: build successful pilots, codify what works, and turn early traction into deployments that scale across your enterprise. If you’re building an XR program, Devin’s someone you want in your corner. Welcome to the team!

Since 2024, Bowlers to Veterans Link and our partner, Mynd Immersive, have worked together to expand immersive healthcare to veterans homes across all 50 states. This year, that work grew to include long-term care within the VA medical system. At an event at the Salisbury VA Medical Center, Veteran Kat shares the impact of experiencing VR for the first time. 🌟 “This is one of the best things in my 26 years of being here that the VA has done.” Through a VR headset, veterans like Kat get to expand their reality. Seeing the sights in Paris, visiting war memorials in Washington D.C., and even 𝐬𝐤𝐲𝐝𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠. Moments of joy, connection, and possibility made real through immersive technology. ❤️ Watch their video to see the impact of VR for yourself. ⬇️ https://lnkd.in/e9REbzt2

We’ve been getting a lot of questions following Meta’s latest email about Horizon managed services. If you’re worried about how this can impact your XR program, you’re not alone. We want to help clear up the most common points of confusion. 1️⃣ Can existing Meta Quest devices continue operating without paying Meta any ongoing HMS fees? Yes, HMS will be free for new and existing Meta Quest device owners after February 20, 2026. Existing devices continue operating and receiving OS updates. 2️⃣ Are net new customers able to enroll devices into HMS after February 20, 2026? Yes. You can sign up for HMS and claim your free licenses at any time after this date. This includes the ability to enroll Meta Quest devices, even if they were purchased through consumer retail channels. 3️⃣ What does Meta moving HMS into maintenance mode mean for enterprise XR programs? After February 20, Meta will no longer provide direct enterprise support for HMS. Support is limited to basic maintenance until January 4, 2030. This means no feature updates, major patches, or roadmap expansion. 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓: For device enrollment, HMS remains required for enrolling devices into ArborXR. However, HMS on its own is no longer positioned as a fleet management solution for enterprise XR programs. If you’re navigating these changes and want a clear path forward, we’re here to help. In our latest blog, we break down these questions and more, including support expectations and planning beyond 2030. Read the full blog here ➡️ https://lnkd.in/ezjye8j6
