Fresh red fruit which is light in body but with a long and lasting flavour. Talk about giving back, for every 6 bottles of Tread Softly sold, they plant an Australian Native tree in a regeneration program in the Yarra Yarra biodiversity corridor in Western Australia. Giving back to the environment we can too often readily take away from. What a win! Spiced Cherries and plum with subtle hints of spice. A real beaut! Andrew Garrett is known for creating original, authentic yet approachable Sparkling. Established in 1983 in South Australia this flagship wine is now an icon in Australian Sparkling.

The Spectacle Rosé

Vintage: 2024 SA ALC: 12% If in doubt, do it like the French. Think of this like the ubiquitous pale rosé from Provence, only a bit less overproduced. This one's more of a small batch aromatic masterpiece, just as we like it. Intense raspberry, strawberry and musk aromatics. Deliciously fruity raspberry, water melon and strawberry flavours decorate the palate with some spicy musk elements the back drop. Guaranteed to go down a storm. Next, to master 11pm dinners, turning up late and all the other effortlessly cool stuff the French do so well... When it comes to wine families, Sam and Jock Auld are the real deal. It’d be hard not to become a vino obsessive when your Barossa Valley upbringing meant dried grape seeds cushioning falls from the monkey bars and early morning pruning as teens. But given their pioneering great-grandfather planted some of SA’s very first vines, it was written. If the Auld family name had been used consistently for the last six generations, it might be as renowned as Penfolds. But as one of the ‘in crowd’, we’re kind of pleased it isn’t.

Pale pink, aromas of fresh red apple and cherries. Soft in the mid pallet and crisp in the finish. Bang on. This is what we want. Judge this book by the cover, judge this book once you have read it all. Same result - brilliant wine. Wine smarts have run in the Pfeiffer family for four generations. Great-grandfather Albert worked his South Australia vines in barefoot, father worked with Penfolds for nearly thirty years, including overseeing the Grange vineyards viticulture, before first planting vines in the Barossa Valley in 1994. Now Josh leads the latest generation’s organic approach by dodging out, hilling back on and harvesting the fruit at optimum ripeness during the cool of the night. With solid grounding in the past but a passionate eye on the future, when these guys talk, we’re all ears.

Vintage: 2021McLaren Vale, SA ALC: 12.7% This is a much anticipated release and we are sure it will sell out quickly. We have been waiting for a Rosé and it is finally here. 66% Rende Grenache and 34% Yangarra Mataro. Beautifully pale with hints of spice, pink grapefruit and redcurrant. Very zesty with a hint of creaminess. As with many great stories, VANGUARDIST was born of humble beginnings. Ideals, harmonised over a table littered with empty bottles. Laughs that rolled late into the evening, not realising the impetus forming; a relentless ‘fire in the belly’ that sent Michael bouncing across the equator, chasing international harvests for most of his adult life. And this Mike Press number is fruity with an acidic crunch to boot. Now all we’ve got to do is put on our crisp, white linen attire and we’re all set (until we slosh some red down ourselves, that is). We love the little guy here at Wine Brothers. Especially when that little guy has some big taste credentials. Adelaide Hills’ Mike Press really gets that whole ‘devil is in the detail’ thing. Despite turning heads at award ceremonies and sneaking five star Halliday reviews, Mike Press is still as hands-on as it gets. As the owners and makers of their single vineyard wine, each and every case sold gets packaged up in the family kitchen.
