Glacier Peak Institute provides outdoor education through recreation and STEM learning opportunities to youth and young adults from underfunded rural school districts and historically marginalized urban communities throughout Snohomish, Skagit and King Counties. Hands-on interactive experiences unleash creativity as participants discover the wonder of our natural environment, build new skills, and grow in their self-confidence and resilience to tackle life challenges and thrive.GPI abruptly lost access to state and federal grant funding due to budget cuts, threatening their ability to continue to provide in-school, out-of-school and workforce development programming to those who need it most. As part of their efforts to bridge this funding gap, they will be hosting a fall gala.
