The annual All-School Holiday Assembly on Friday, December 12, celebrated the timeless theme of discovering the Holiday Spirit. This year, performances inspired by The Wizard of Oz and Wicked brought together singers, dancers, and musicians from all three divisions for a morning full of music, movement, and joy. Our littlest Eagles took the stage on Friday, December 5 for the annual “Marshmallows and Merriment,” a musical performance about the world changing from fall to winter. Our kindergarten chefs were hard at work the week of November 17 baking pumpkin muffins with the very pumpkins they planted in June and harvested in October! Next week during Grandfriends Day, they’ll share their creations with visiting grandparents and grandfriends.

Step inside Field Station: Magpie in the Tuttle Gallery! Match Zimmerman's creative vision of a sci-fi world comes alive through directing and partnering with AI to co-create immersive visuals, sound, mixed media, and more. Students had the chance to explore the installation during its opening reception on Friday, November 14. The gallery will remain open through mid-December.

Author Visit with Jennifer A. Nielsen
On Friday, November 14, the Middle School welcomed bestselling author Jennifer A. Nielsen—writer of A Night Divided, The False Prince, Lines of Courage, Words on Fire, and many other beloved titles—for a full day of storytelling and creativity. She began the day with a writing workshop for eighth graders, offering practical advice on character, conflict, and story structure. Later, she spoke to the entire Middle School about her books and the experiences that shaped them. The visit concluded with a book signing, where students enjoyed the chance to meet her and share their favorite reads.
