It combines the history and culture of Achill Island told through traditional music and storytelling. It features recordings with two of the great Achill storytellers, John Twin McNamara and Francie McNamara (RIP) and a host of native Achill musicians and musicians who moved there for the exceptional music scene. Along with producer, John Michael Berry, whose family also hails from the island, Graham Sweeney has created an album celebrating the history, culture and talent of this small and exceptional island.
