fuck esports, the only correct way to play smash is the way my 7 y/o niece plays it: connecting 2 controllers, setting one as peach, setting the other as marth, pretending marth is peach’s boyfriend and then playing virtual barbie and ken with them
smash esports livestream but it’s just thousands of people tuning in to watch my niece make bayonetta marry solid snake on the zelda temple stage
esports commentator: now watch what she does here. shes crouching with snake to indicate hes proposing. blink and youll miss it: she uses down+b to place a bomb- this is the wedding ring. going back to bayonetta, shes going to ever so slightly tilt the left stick forward, now this serves two purposes: 1.) to make sure she doesnt set off that bomb when she goes to accept snakes proposal, which would obviously ruin the whole scene, but 2.) and this is a more subtle touch, to show bayonettas hesitation. that’s something we know about bayonettas character, shes very independent, so thats the true work of a master to incorporate that into their gameplay

Last Reading: Sabriel… still. I need to finish it because I want to move on to Alchemised. Last book I finished was House of the Beast however.
Last Series: Currently working my way thru Requiem of the Rose King and I am losing my fucking mind over it. Before that, Heated Rivalry hehe
Last Film: Uhhh, I rewatched LOTR recently? Last movie I watched before that was Frankenstein.
Coffee or tea: Coffee. I especially enjoy iced coffee. But I do have a tea collection too. I should drink it more often.
Current Projects: too many haha. Currently working on my scene from the LOTR flipbook project! After that/in between I am working on coding my own webpage and writing a business plan to re-open my art biz. And job hunting obscures all rip.

Last Series: Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, it was pretty fun! it started better than it ended tho’ not sure how to feel about that. Currently on “To your Eternity”. Since season 3 started I finally finished 1 and 2 this month (after abandoning 1 coz it was TOO SAD)
Last film: I watched a few Christmas movies like “Klaus” and “That Christmas” over the holidays. Klaus is really nice. But the ending got me bawling. (That Christmas was… Something)
Coffee or tea: definitely coffee. But with a lot of milk. I really don’t like tea. It lies. It smells nice but tastes like leaves… Apologies uncle Iroh.
Current project: working on a bunch of stardew valley art over at @mooniafarm and I joined a Gravity Falls reanimated project! Scared to start that, haha. Still having my dunmeshi stuff in mind too… Which has been on hiatus for over a year. >3> AND Actively tryna loose weight this year, that’s a project. maybe even harder than any art project… lmao
